ABSTRACT The dynamic landscape of consumer behavior is pressuring companies to adapt rapidly evolving expectations. burgeoning interest in the supply chain management (SCM) literature toward consumer‐centric research capturing attention scholars and sparking diverse calls action. While a significant growth SCM has centered on consumers as unit analysis over past decade, it remains necessary improve understanding how role actors within evolved. We aim enhance by conducting systematic review that summarizes synthesizes studies focus analysis. Our encompasses 174 articles from 16 leading journals. bundle based two key trajectories: (i) major functions involved activities, (ii) phases customer journey. To synthesize literature, we develop framework following elements: factors influencing SCM, resultant consumer‐related outcomes, (iii) retail structures. Based review, propose agenda serves basis for advancing identifying questions are relevant practitioners.

Biowaste management is one of the biggest challenges for European and Commonwealth small state Cyprus, a Mediterranean island situated in southeast corner Europe. On hand, it widely acknowledged that biowaste treatment processes such as composting should be adopted to divert from landfills, protect environment, safeguard human health well-being, comply with environmental policies legislation; on other national local government efforts promote its implementation appear lethargic preventing move towards sustainable bioeconomy. Using political, economic, social, technological, legal (PESTEL) approach, study conceptually explores underlying motives multitude reasons may preclude adoption management. Findings suggest lack infrastructure investment strategy plan has derailed progress management, despite government's rhetoric development. Moreover, waste planning at level, public awareness consequences mismanagement, market demand compost produced are additional barriers composting. This emphasizes urgent need collaboration between governments development functional, strategy.
