Diabetes and its complications derived are among serious global health concerns that critically deteriorate the quality of life patients and, in some cases, result lethal outcome. Herein, general information on pathogenesis, factors aggravating course disease drugs used for treatment two types diabetes briefly discussed. The aim review is to introduce supramolecular strategies currently being developed mellitus present a very effective alternative chemical synthesis, allowing fabrication nanocontainers with switchable characteristics meet criteria green chemistry. Cancer is the world's second most common cause of death, with colon cancer (CC) ranking third in prevalence and cancer-related fatalities. CC originates or rectum influenced by genetic mutations, lifestyle, diet. Although chemotherapy, especially 5-fluorouracil (5-FU), fundamental to treatment has improved patient survival, its benefits are often limited significant side effects emerging drug resistance. Recently, plant-based foods have drawn interest research for their natural bioactive compounds relatively low toxicity. Certain plant not only exhibit anti-cancer activity but may also boost effectiveness 5-FU while reducing adverse effects. Despite evidence suggesting a synergistic effect between 5-FU, this area remains fragmented. This review consolidates current on including fruits, vegetables, legumes, tea bioactives treatment. Besides, it explores mechanisms through which these enhance efficacy reduce effects, evaluates clinical application prospects, identifies challenges future directions. comprehensive analysis aims provide scientific foundation integrated CC, highlighting potential enhancing chemotherapy associated toxicities.

Nano-drug delivery systems provide targeted solutions for addressing various drug challenges, leveraging nanotechnology to enhance solubility and permeability. Liposomes, explored several decades, face hurdles, especially in oral delivery. Bile-acid stabilized vesicles (bilosomes) are flexible lipid vesicles, composed of phospholipids or other surfactants, along with amphiphilic bile salts, they show superior stability pharmacokinetic behavior comparison conventional vesicular (liposomes niosomes). Bilosomes skin penetration, fluidize the stratum corneum, improve stability. In applications, bilosomes overcome drawbacks, offering improved bioavailability, controlled release, reduced side effects. Vaccines using demonstrate efficacy, intranasal, inhalation, ocular, buccal applications delivery, targeted, efficient, activities. Formulations vary based on active substances optimization techniques, showcasing versatility potential across diverse routes. Therefore, aim this comprehensive review was critically explore state-of-the-art therapeutic applications.
