ABSTRACT Plants depend heavily on efficient nutrient uptake and utilization for optimal growth development. However, plants are constantly subjected to a diverse array of biotic stresses, such as pathogen infections, insect pests, herbivory, well abiotic stress like drought, salinity, extreme temperatures, imbalances. These stresses significantly impact the plant's ability take up use it efficiency. Understanding how maintain efficiency under conditions is crucial improving crop resilience sustainability. This review explores recent advancements in elucidating mechanisms underlying conditions. Our aim offer comprehensive perspective that can guide breeding stress‐tolerant nutrition‐efficient varieties, ultimately contributing advancement sustainable agriculture.

Crop production encounters challenges due to the dearth of nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P), while excessive chemical fertilizer use causes environmental hazards. The N-fixing microbes P-solubilizing (PSMs) can be a sustainable strategy overcome these problems. Here, we conducted greenhouse pot experiment following completely randomized blocked design elucidate influence co-inoculating bacteria (Bradyrhizobium japonicum) PSMs (Saccharomyces cerevisiae Saccharomyces exiguus) on atmospheric N2-fixation, growth, yield. results indicate significant interaction Indole-3-acetic acid production, P solubilization, seedling germination, growth. It was also found that nodule number per plant, dry weight, straw, root weight plant at different growth stages were significantly increased under dual inoculation treatments relative single or no treatment. Increased seed yield N accumulation noticed co-inoculation treatments. Soil available highest sole bacterial lowest control treatment, soil We demonstrated enhances bioavailability N2-fixation in soybeans leading improved fertility, raising crop yields, promoting agriculture.

This review was designed assess importance bioactive compounds for health under umbrella sustainable agriculture. With respect first research question, it found that bioactives (e.g., alkaloids, carotenoids, flavonoids, phenolics, terpenoids) crucial role due their therapeutic benefits, potentiality depends several factors, including botanical, environmental, clinical attributes. Plant could be produced using tissue culture tools (as kind agro-biotechnological method), especially cases underexploited endangered plants. Bioactive production many climate change (heat stress, drought, UV radiation, ozone, elevated CO2), environmental pollution, problematic soils (degraded, saline/alkaline, waterlogged, etc.). Under previously mentioned stresses, reviewing literature, association depending kinds stress observed correlation (or growth factors) might explain these Their accumulation stressed increase tolerance roles. results study are keeping with previous observational studies, which confirmed start from contents, humans. report analyzes pictorial presentation.

Metalation, the acquisition of metals by proteins, must avoid mis‐metalation with tighter binding metals. This is illustrated four selected proteins that require different metals: all show similar ranked orders affinity for bioavailable metals, as described in a universal series (the Irving–Williams series). Crucially, cellular protein metalation occurs competition other metal sites. The strength this defines intracellular availability each metal: its magnitude has been estimated calibrating cells' set DNA‐binding, metal‐sensing, transcriptional regulators. established availabilities (as free energies forming complexes) are maintained to inverse series. tightest least available. With these availabilities, correct achieved.
