Vaccination plays a critical role in public health by reducing the incidence and prevalence of infectious diseases. Objective: Schistosoma mansoni (S. mansoni) infection is endemic in Ugandan fishing communities. We investigated its potential impact on Hepatitis B (Hep B) vaccine responses and role mediating the association between gut microbiome long-term effectiveness of vaccine.
