Whether the digital economy can effectively promote agricultural green development is crucial to realization of rural modernization. This study empirically analyzes impact on and mechanism action based panel data 30 Chinese provinces from 2011 2020. The results reveal that (1) significantly improve level China’s agriculture; dividends in eastern region central are higher than western region, there regional heterogeneity. Based on pollution emission data and digital product import of Chinese industrial enterprises from 2000 to 2013, this paper takes enterprise imported products as a natural experiment build model multiple phase difference in (DID) investigate the reduction effect transformation. The research results show that transformation can significantly reduce their emissions. strong persuasive robustness are verified by substituting variables, eliminating interference value, excluding other factors, time lag factor sensitivity analysis.
