One such nutrient is polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), which are accumulated many algae and can be consumed animals through food chain eventually humans. Omega-3 omega-6 PUFAs essential nutrients for human animal health. However, compared with plants aquatic sourced PUFA, production PUFA-rich oil from microalgae still early stages exploration.
