Abstract
Ammonia
is
crucial
for
human
life
as
an
important
ingredient
fertilizer,
industrial
and
household
chemicals,
considered
a
future
fuel
alternative
hydrogen
storage
molecule.
There
remain
no
viable
alternatives
to
the
energy‐and
capital‐intensive
Haber–Bosch
(H−B)
process.
Efforts
in
development
of
novel
catalytic
processes
operated
at
milder
conditions
(low
temperatures
ambient
pressure),
prominently
electrochemistry
non‐thermal
plasma
(NTP),
utilization
lower‐cost
H
sources
ammonia
formation
than
ultrapure
2
have
been
witnessed
last
few
years.
Yet,
limited
progress
from
these
routes
has
made
date
given
unresolved
low
yield
technical
challenges.
Several
rare
works
attempted
activate
methane

4
)
nitrogen

Recent
studies
have
demonstrated
that
the
physical
properties
of
water
treated
with
non-thermal
plasma,
or
plasma-activated
(PAW),
significantly
differ
from
those
distilled
water.
For
example,
contrary
to
expectation,
viscosity
PAW
becomes
lower
than
at
certain
temperatures.
This
study
developed
a
model
explain
these
differences
by
combining
two-state
ordinary
water,
which
describes
as
combination
nano-crystalline
clusters
and
amorphous,
free-floating
molecules,
using
Debye–Huckel
theory
for
fluid
containing
ions.
