Characterized by inexpensive and readily available products, fast fashion has increased the consumption disposal of clothing, for which criticism been significant due to its negative environmental social impact. Therefore, transitioning sustainable business models (SBMs) that balance profit with corporate responsibility (CSR) is critical. This study explores value propositions in Polish Zero Waste businesses, addressing gap research on SBMs. It also employs theory organizational paradoxes examine tensions between maximization CSR. Data were collected from 249 companies listed mapazerowaste.pl analyzed through content analysis statistical methods. Additionally, 21 YouTube videos 2020 2022 examined promotion. Multiple coding categorization schemes used identify themes, followed frequency correspondence analysis. Second-hand clothing emerged as most common proposition (120 companies), reflecting consumer trends resale. Anti‐Consumers and Treasure‐Hunters: Can Online Sustainable Fashion Challenges Shift Consumer Behaviour? DOI Open Access

ABSTRACT Two types of social media challenges were compared: the Second‐hand September and No New Clothes challenge, both restraining consumption new clothes. First, a survey ( n = 416) measured motivation environmentally conscious consumers to participate in online reduction challenges. Factor analysis multilinear regressions used test predictive power anti‐fashion preferences, environmental ethical concern relation reduction. Purpose The purpose of this study is to investigate corporate strategies promoting sufficiency-oriented consumption (sufficient consumption) across various fashion segments, analysing adopted, identifying patterns, assessing communication consistency channels, detecting potential anti-consumerist washing practices, a form greenwashing and offering managerial lessons. Design/methodology/approach This exploratory qualitative assesses through the lens promotion sufficient consumption, utilising three-pillar framework from contemporary literature. It analyses latest annual reports, websites social media content on Facebook Instagram 15 prominent companies representing fast fashion, luxury born-sustainable segments. Findings reveals varying degrees strategy adoption, with limited implementation undermining synergies. Companies including firms, exhibit inconsistent communication, compromising their credibility sustainability efforts. indicates widespread highlights difficulties resistance in effectively integrating sufficiency into strategies. The concept of sustainable and eco-friendly production textiles has gained significant traction in recent years. Utilizing raw materials, processes, recycling methods are fundamental strategies the development cleaner more eco-conscious textile manufacturing. current work reports a approach to manufacturing melange yarn from recycled fibers shredded pre-consumer cotton/viscose mélange fabric waste. obtained by shredding method short lumpy, necessitating blending with virgin which serve as carriers throughout spinning process. In traditional ring system, poor inter-fiber cohesion, especially shorter fibers, inhibits achieving optimum quality. With view their better control during spinning, advanced systems such Siro, compact compact-Siro were adopted. Experimental results revealed that all these led superior qualities. Among them, produced demonstrated most improvements structure (reduced hairiness, unevenness & imperfections) properties (increased strength elongation). Through adept engineering precise process control, 30-Ne (19.68 Tex) yarns containing up 60% fiber successfully produced.
