The usance of electric and electronic products has become commonplace across the globe. growing number customers demand for these are resulting in manufacturing new electrical into market, which is ultimately generating a plethora e-waste. notion circular economy (CE) attracting more researchers to work field e-waste management. Considering as prominent menace, objective this study was undertake comprehensive review literature by analyzing research articles published MDPI Sustainability journal pertaining topic context operations supply chain management (OSCM). This addressed via three questions. A total 87 selected papers from 2014 2023 were analyzed, reviewed, categorized after data collected Web Science (WOS) Scopus academic databases with only journal. entails identifying themes, publication trends, evolution, clusters, industries related through descriptive analysis. methods employed analyzed means content analysis delving main body articles. Further, four major themes clusters identified: (1) closed-loop chains; (2) e-waste; (3) sustainable development; (4) waste equipment (WEEE). Consequently, can be foundation subsequent scholarly pursuits toward fresh lines inquiry Finally, conclusion section, some future guidelines also provided.

In today's technological age, the issue of e-waste management is becoming increasingly critical. Although several studies have detected and proposed innovative technologies to both enable increase recycling performance, end users often dispose obsolete products inappropriately. The present work aimed at investigating criteria that influence user behavior regarding recycling, starting from seven (i.e., intention recycle e-waste, awareness importance environmental concern, attitudes towards subjective norms, intention, WTP for recycling) identified in literature as most relevant. A questionnaire administered students, interviews academic experts, analytical techniques descriptive statistics, analytic hierarchy process, econometric regression) were used identify relevant recycling. With willingness pay (WTP) a reference criterion, remaining six investigated variables, with aim uncovering relations among them determining which had significant impact on WTP. results revealed individuals strong pro-social more aware need e-waste. Furthermore, those who disposed waste correctly specialized centers recycle. study highlights raising group level promote disposal social norm.

Increasing populations and the extravagant consumption of virgin resources are key issues in developing economies these days. The Paris Climate Accords 2015 have also highlighted importance resource conservation sustainable consumption. Developing economies, which rely on linear practices traditional resources, require urgent attention regarding such issues. Practices circular economy (CE) provide an edge to achieving self-sustainability materials energy lead a guiding path towards net-zero manufacturing. Net-zero manufacturing can significantly reduce environmental impact, conserve contribute more economy. In current research paper, authors studied critical success factors (CSFs) for implementing Indian small medium enterprises (SMEs). identified CSFs through literature review expert opinions. To categorize establish structural model among CSFs, used Fuzzy Decision-Making Trial Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) techniques. model’s robustness bias were checked predisposition analysis. verify validate findings analysis, conducted case study SME using Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT) methodology. observed that government policies regulations CE, consumer awareness demand CE products, economic incentives available new global business opportunities due leading cause groups CSFs. ABSTRACT Nigeria faces significant environmental and health risks due to rapid Waste Electrical Electronics Equipment (WEEE) generation, estimated at 500,000 tons annually. This systematic review analyses the situation of WEEE in Nigeria, examining existing policies, regulations, emerging technologies for sustainable recycling. The analysis reveals gaps legislation, inadequate infrastructure, primitive recycling methods, resulting severe pollution risks. Emerging technologies, such as waste‐to‐energy conversion, circular economy approaches, offer potential solutions. evaluates these technologies' effectiveness sustainability Nigerian context. Recommendations policy reforms, technological innovations, stakeholder engagement are provided inform evidence‐based decision‐making promote practices Nigeria.

Product-as-a-service (PaaS) is an example of a circular business model which currently promoted by the European Commission, as one main drivers towards transition to Circular Economy. The current policy prioritizes products with high circularity potential, for Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE), improve product durability, reusability, upgradability, reparability. PaaS models are emerging in consumer markets, but their often not fully explored. To overcome this limitation, we propose new approach assess from perspective R strategies, such remanufacturing, refurbishment, or repair. designed based on literature review, opinions industry experts, secondary primary case studies. available offers household appliances B2C analyzed, particular emphasis implemented elements strategies. results show that potential regard has yet been exploited.

Major and expensive disturbances have a significant impact on supply chain management (SCM) jeopardise the sustainability of any business. As COVID-19 pandemic, administrators are required to strategies techniques for safeguarding chains (CSs) avoiding failures at every stage be competitive in market. Sustainability through SCM is described as general practice that emerging from integration pertinent, contemporary regenerative approaches strategies. Therefore, it possible comprehend idea sustainable (SSCM) business strategy increasing eco-efficiency productivity by recycling, reproducing repurposing under circular economy. In order SSCM practices successfully adopted organization, this study intends evaluate critical success factors (CSFs). Herein, nine CSFs were chosen following an exhaustive examination literature. The determined analysed evaluated our constructed mathematical evaluator framework (MEF) based Multi-Factors Decision Making (MFoDM) methods, which fortified with triangular neutrosophic sets (TriNSs) obscurity uncertainty situations. MEF conducts evaluation several stages set MFoDM methods fortress TriNSs. best-worst method (BWM) analysing CSFs, obtained weights assigned represent analysis's outcome. Posteriorly, measurement alternatives ranking according compromise solution (MARCOS) prioritize rank SCs alternatives. Ultimately, we verified validity its application reality throughout five SCs.
