Purpose This study relies on the lessons learned from recent pandemic crisis to propose a conceptual framework for organizational management and illustrate its application in an organization that effectively protected competitive position during crisis. Design/methodology/approach Building upon resource-based view dynamic capability theoretical framework, we first conducted systematic literature review involves content bibliographic analysis. Subsequently, developed applied it case of Hyundai Motor Brazil. Major trends in the automotive industry are reconfiguring digital mobility business models. From a comprehensive, combined Dynamic Capabilities and Ecosystems approach, this study characterizes models linked to sustainability, connectivity, Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) adopted by four carmakers (Volkswagen, Stellantis, Toyota, Honda). Results show that differ their focal value propositions, based mainly on carmakers' own strategies. Volkswagen exhibits an integral proposition with personalized services, while Stellantis is focusing electric its solutions, Toyota autonomous connectivity Honda user-centric perspective via connected shared mobility. The main sources of income multiple services specifically provide driver assistance, along remote platform services. Those pursuing sustainable, autonomous, or strategies find primary like driving, door-to-door deliveries, car-sharing. Such deployed not only due technical resources, such as skills data exchange systems, but primarily through organizational capabilities "team-player mentality" customer-focused vision. Introduction/Objective: the mobility sector underwent a rapid transformation driven by adoption of green vehicles, advanced connectivity systems, and innovative service models. Grounded in Dynamic Capabilities Theory, Triple Bottom Line, Sustainability-Oriented Innovation, this study examined how automobile manufacturers implemented new business models linked to autonomous, electric, connected, shared vehicles. It also evaluated impact digitalization sustainability on these transformations. Methodology: researchers conducted case four traditional companies within automotive sector. Introduction: Climate change presents significant risks for businesses, particularly in emerging markets such as Mexico, where perceptions of sustainability are still evolving. This study aims to examine how carbon emissions influence the cost equity capital (COE) publicly listed companies Mexico. Methodology: The analysis is based on data from 32 over period 2018-2022 (N = 148 observations). A panel regression model was employed assess relationship between intensity and COE, while controlling key financial variables. Additionally, a Random Forest applied evaluate relative importance each variable determining COE. Results: Findings indicate positive capital. However, this effect weakens during periods crisis, COVID-19 pandemic, when leverage becomes more prominent factor. Conclusions: offers valuable insights corporate managers, investors, policymakers regarding integration considerations into decision-making. It underscores further exploring these dynamics unfold economies. RESUMEN Introducción: el cambio climático representa un riesgo creciente para las empresas, especialmente en economías emergentes como México, donde percepciones sobre sostenibilidad se encuentran constante transformación. En este contexto, presente estudio tiene objetivo analizar impacto de emisiones carbono costo propio (COE, por sus siglas inglés) empresas mexicanas que cotizan bolsa. Metodología: emplearon datos correspondientes al periodo 2018-2022, con total observaciones. Para examinar la relación entre intensidad y utilizó modelo regresión panel, controlando variables financieras relevantes. Asimismo, aplicó random forest fin identificar importancia relativa cada determinación del Resultados: los resultados evidencian una positiva propio. No obstante, dicho efecto tiende reducirse contextos durante pandemia Covid-19, apalancamiento financiero adquiere papel más determinante. Conclusiones: ofrece aportes significativos gestores, inversionistas responsables políticas públicas interesados incorporar criterios decisiones financieras.
