In

rural
roads
that
facilitate
optimal
conditions

from
dust,
mud,
and
noise.

public
investment

the

rural–urban

environmental

identity

Abstract
A
resource-efficient
society
that
reduces
waste
is
one
of
the
European
Union’s
long-term
objectives.
Waste
cannot
be
prevented
should
reused
as
far
possible
through
sorting,
recycling
and
minimizing
landfill.
Achieving
this
goal
requires
active
coordinated
participation
all
stakeholders,
including
households.
However,
low
involvement
in
reduction
measures
certain
consumer
groups,
especially
hard-to-reach
consumers,
poses
a
significant
challenge.
This
paper
investigates
mental
models
practices
different
groups
using
cognitive
maps
an
analysis
tool.
The
Mental
Modeler
tool
used
to
predict
behavioural
patterns
simulate
impact
various
scenarios
on
these
behaviours.

show
consumers
develop
reactions
