Cancer remains a global health challenge, with current treatments often leading to adverse side effects. Herein, pH-sensitive, biocompatible nanocomposite composed of chitosan (CS), polyacrylic acid (PAA), and MoS2 nanosheets, loaded quercetin (QCT) as model anticancer drug has been synthesized via the water-oil-water (W/O/W) emulsification method, aim be used for targeted breast cancer treatment. Characterization Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) revealed strong interaction between polymers hydrogen bonding, X-ray diffraction (XRD) showed reduction in level crystallinity upon loading. Dynamic light scattering (DLS), zeta potential, field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) tests that nanocarriers were spherical shape had hollow structure, mean size 484 nm high potential +44.3 mV, which confirms their colloidal stability. The addition nanosheets polymeric mixture increased loading encapsulation efficiency 47% 89%, respectively. pH-responsive delivery system, releasing 97% 68% QCT acidic neutral environments, respectively, over 96 hours. biological performance was investigated using MTT flow cytometry assays, confirmed tumor cell removal.
