Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a common central neurodegenerative disorder characterized primarily by cognitive impairment and non-cognitive neuropsychiatric symptoms that significantly impact patients’ daily lives behavioral functioning. The pathogenesis of AD remains unclear current Western medicines treatment are purely symptomatic, with singular pathway, limited efficacy, substantial toxicity side effects. In recent years, as research into has deepened, there been gradual increase in the exploration application medicinal plants for AD. Numerous studies have shown their active ingredients can potentially mitigate regulating various molecular mechanisms, including production aggregation pathological proteins, oxidative stress, neuroinflammation, apoptosis, mitochondrial dysfunction, neurogenesis, neurotransmission, brain-gut microbiota axis. this review, we analyzed comprehensively summarized advancements on AD, along underlying mechanisms clinical evidence. Ultimately, aimed to provide reference further investigation specific through which prevent treat well identification efficacious derived from plants.

ABSTRACT Background Currently, trastuzumab resistance significantly impacts the treatment outcome for individuals with HER2‐positive gastric cancer. In clinical practice, Jian Pi Hua Tan Fang (JPHTF) has been shown to be effective in preventing recurrences and metastases caused by Yet, process remains unknown. Background Skin photoaging induced by ultraviolet A (UVA) and B (UVB) radiation manifests as skin roughness, desquamation, pigmentation, wrinkle formation. Current treatments, such sunscreen, hormones, antioxidants, have limitations side effects. Traditional Chinese Medicine Hibisci Mutabilis Folium (HMF), or Mu-Fu-Rong-Ye in name, refers to the dried leaves of plant Hibiscus mutabilis L., which belongs Malvaceae family. It has been used traditionally treat acute mastitis, parotitis, neurodermatitis, burns. The reported activities HMF include anti-inflammatory anti-oxidant However, therapeutic potential preventing treating UV-induced remains unexplored. Objective This study aimed investigate protective effects extract (EHMF) against underlying mechanisms action, using network pharmacology experimental verification. Methods Network was employed identify effective chemical components EHMF. Potential targets were identified via PPI analysis. Representative compounds characterized UPLC-MS/MS. In vitro validation involved assessing HaCaT cell viability, observing live/dead staining through fluorescence microscopy, measuring inflammatory factors ELISA. For vivo validation, a mice model treated transdermally with EHMF Methotrexate daily for 7 days. Dermatitis severity, morphology, collagen fiber pathology evaluated. Inflammatory cytokine protein expression dorsal lesions confirmed Elisa Kits, Western blot immunohistochemistry. Results total 22 active ingredients identified. GO enrichment KEGG pathway analyses revealed focus on signaling pathways. experiments showed that significantly reduced cells improved survival rates. , alleviated back UV-exposed mice, reducing epidermal dermal thickening pathological infiltration. also decreased abnormal MMP-9 proliferation, along levels like TNF-α, IL-6, IL-17, EGFR. immunohistochemistry results indicated over-activation AKT-STAT3 inhibited.
