Understanding the biogeochemical processes of particulate organic matter occurring in river under anthropogenic disturbances and its transport to coastal system is important for environmental resource management. In this study, we investigated sources distribution (POM) from upper reaches Iyidere River, Türkiye, water Black Sea during fall spring seasons using elemental (POC PON (%), C/N), isotopic (δ 13 C δ 15 N), Bayesian mixing model (MixSIAR) analysis. The POC C/N POM varied seasonally, indicating that composition with hydrology, which varies depending on climate region. Both ratios have revealed contributing riverine POM, season, when precipitation severe, exhibited a uniform distribution. Heavy rain increased soil erosion along high-slope land, as result, bacteria were identified main contributor River. results showed season significant spatial variation. Terrestrial vegetation, OM, contributors sites, these contributions did not show regular trend river. N had variation both was likely caused by nitrogen inputs derived activities cascade dams causing variations contribution are driving factors river-coastal system.
