At present, the insufficient supply of land resources has seriously hindered sustainable development regional economy. Improving urban green use efficiency (UGLUE) become a key issue on road to development. As an important feature economic development, industrial agglomeration impact UGLUE that cannot be ignored. This paper uses Global Malmquist-Luenberger Index (GMLI) measure 107 cities in Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB) from 2007 2016, and dynamic panel model (DPM) empirically analyze effects specialization diversification UGLUE. On this basis, heterogeneous different regions is further discussed. The results illustrate that: (1) shows general downward trend. (2) Different modes have impacts was inverted U-shaped. Increasing urban land use eco-efficiency (ULUEE) is conducive to alleviating the human-land conflict in cities, especially densely populated and ecologically sensitive areas. ULUEE research past has been less focused on different river basins from a comparative perspective, largely ignored regional heterogeneity driving factors. Thus, this study aims compare spatiotemporal dynamics factors of Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB) Yellow Basin (YRB) China. The was first evaluated using Slack Based Model-Undesirable, then Theil Index spatial Markov Chain were used reveal differential changes shifting direction ULUEE, followed by an analysis segments sized cities Tobit model. Results show that: (1) both YREB YRB, shows characteristic "lower reaches > middle upper reaches", however, notable differences index values are evident among basin segments. (2) exhibits spillovers convergence phenomena during its variations. (3) There significant U-shaped relationship between GDP whole YREB, but only lower YRB. Additionally, form environmental regulations have heterogeneous impacts different-sized cities. In order maintain sustainability resource management coordinate city development varying sizes, governments must take systematic approach that accounts for complexity characteristics drivers ULUEE.

The rational use of land is an important guarantee for the sustainable development resource-based cities. First, this paper uses panel data 115 cities in China from 2004 to 2018 measure green efficiency (GLUE) by SBM model and Metafrontier-Malmquist productivity index model. Secondly, it analyzes industrial upgrading perspectives optimization structure rationalization explore impact mechanism on GLUE. Furtherly, heterogeneity analysis carried out following two perspectives: exploring GLUE under different types urban samples; using quantile analyze quantiles. main conclusions study are as follows: (1) both promote improvement robustness test instrumental variable method support conclusion.
