In this context, saikosaponin has emerged as promising candidate, offering variety of therapeutic benefits may be effective in combating depression. This review delves into the multifaceted potential saikosaponins alleviating depressive symptoms. We summarized effects on structural functional neuroplasticity, elaborated regulatory mechanism modulating key factors affect such inflammation, hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, oxidative stress, brain-gut axis. Moreover, paper highlights existing gaps current researches outlines directions for future studies. A detailed plan provided clinical application saikosaponins, advocating more targeted to speed up its transition from preclinical trials practice.

Diabetic foot ulcers cause great suffering and are costly for the healthcare system. Normal wound healing involves hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, remodeling. However, negative factors associated with diabetes, such as bacterial biofilms, persistent impaired angiogenesis, inhibited cell pathological scarring, greatly interfere smooth progress of entire process. It is this that leads to diabetic even amputations. Therefore, drug screening challenging due complexity damaged mechanisms. The establishment a scientific reasonable animal experimental model contributes significantly in-depth research pathology, prevention, diagnosis, treatment. In addition low cost transparency embryo (for imaging transgene applications), zebrafish have discrete process separate study each stage, resulting in their potential ideal future. review, we examine reasons behind delayed wounds, systematically review various studies using by different induction methods, well summarize challenges improvement strategies which provide references establishing more model.

Diabetes and Alzheimer's disease (AD) are associated with specific changes in the composition of intestinal flora. Studies have shown that supplementation pasteurized Akkermansia muciniphila has therapeutic preventive effects on diabetes. However, it is not clear whether there any association improvement prevention diabetes disease. Here, we found can significantly improve blood glucose, body mass index, indexes zebrafish mellitus complicated also alleviate related The memory, anxiety, aggression, social preference behavior combined type 2 (T2DM) (TA zebrafish) were improved after treatment. Moreover, examined effect results showed group better terms biochemical index than treatment group. These findings provide new ideas for IMPORTANCE interaction between microflora host affects progression As a recognized next-generation probiotic, been to play key role disease, but A. its potential mechanism unclear. Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a complex neurodegenerative disorder, with amyloid-beta (Aβ) aggregation playing key role in its pathogenesis. Aβ-induced oxidative stress leads to neuronal damage, mitochondrial dysfunction, and apoptosis, making antioxidative strategies promising for AD treatment. This study investigates the effects of hydrogen-rich water (HRW) zebrafish model. Zebrafish were exposed aluminum chloride induce AD-like pathology then treated HRW using nanobubble device. Behavioral assays, ELISA, Hematoxylin-eosin (H&E) staining, reactive oxygen species (ROS) neutrophil fluorescence labeling employed assess HRW's impact. Additionally, 16S rRNA sequencing analyzed effect on gut microbiota. can significantly improve cognitive impairment depression-like behavior model, reduce Aβ deposition (p < 0.0001), regulate liver Soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) levels 0.05), neuroinflammation, stress. Furthermore, reduced number harmful bacteria linked by restoring balance microbiota gut. These findings suggest that has potential as therapeutic strategy targeting stress, inflammation, gut-brain axis modulation.

Common tyrosinase (TYR) inhibitors used in cosmetics, such as hydroquinone, kojic acid, and arbutin, can cause side effects including erythema, skin peeling, dryness. Therefore, the development of natural whitening agents that offer excellent permeability, minimal irritation, high safety has become a primary focus field TYR inhibitors. In this study, we demonstrate White birch sap (WBS), within safe concentration range, effectively reduces activity melanin content both B16F10 mouse melanoma cells zebrafish larvae. Importantly, WBS exhibits irritation to neutrophils fluorescent does not affect behavior adult zebrafish. Furthermore, downregulates gene expression levels microphthalmia-associated transcription factor, TYR, tyrosinase-related protein-1, protein-2 cells. conclusion, our research confirms WBS, naturally derived substance, offers mild effects, making it promising candidate for skin-whitening agent.
