In the pharmaceutical field, analytical chemistry is evolving and one area that experiencing enthusiasm design implementation of solid contact ion-selective electrodes. We have developed two potentiometric sensors for selective assay a widely used drug diclofenac sodium. Diclofenac sodium was targeted in its most recommended dosage forms (Arthrotec ® tablets) presence misoprostol. A cost-effective copper printed circuit board as substrate has been coated with PVC sensing membrane to fabricate sensor I. Hydrophobic carbon nanotubes (CNTs) modified through situ reduction pentafluorophenyl diazonium using borohydride. An interlayer CNTs inserted transducer layer between Cu ion-sensing II enhance electrochemical performance stability. The microfabricated electrodes demonstrated encouraging outcomes upon direct combination misoprostol other additives without sample preparation steps. responses presented linear Nernstian pattern range 1.0 × 10 −4 −2 mol l −1 slope −58.2 −58.4 mV/decade I II, consequently. Ophthalmic pharmaceutical preparation containing antazoline (ANT) and tetryzoline (TET) is prescribed widely as an over the counter medication for allergic conjunctivitis treatment. Development of a selective, simple environmentally friendly thin-layer chromatographic method established to determine both ANT TET in their pure forms, formulation spiked aqueous humor samples. By using silica gel plates means developing system consists ethyl acetate:ethanol (5:5, by volume), studied drugs separation was achieved, scanning carried out at 220.0 nm separated bands with 0.2-18.0 μg/band concentration range each TET. Standard addition technique application proposed validity. Statistical comparison made between official methods showing no significant difference concerning accuracy precision. Furthermore, greenness profile assessment accomplished four metric tools, namely, analytical greenness, green procedure index, eco-scale national environmental index. Highlights.

Abstract In this work, a solid-state electrochemical sensor relying on potentiometric transduction was constructed and optimized to detect Bosentan (BOS) in its pharmaceutical dosage form human plasma. BOS is useful pulmonary hypertension management as nonselective endothelin receptor antagonist. A printed circuit board has been used substrate for microfabricated Cu electrodes. comparison control (Cu/ISM) electrode, the potential signal drift enhanced, response time reduced by using multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) an ion-to-electron transducer layer. According IUPAC requirements, suggested sensors have electrochemically characterized, linear dynamic range (1.0 × 10 −8 1.0 −5 ) M with limit of detection 6.28 −9 6.12 MWCNT-based (Cu/CNT-NC/ISM) (Cu/ISM), respectively. The described successfully selectively determine plasma without any pre-treatment steps.
