Background/Objectives: Skin wrinkles result from a myriad of multifaceted processes involving intrinsic and extrinsic aging. To combat this effect, plant stem cells offer renewable eco-friendly source for various industries, including cosmeceuticals. Salvia miltiorrhiza (SM), which contains the bioactive compound Rosmarinic acid (RA) has been proposed its anti-wrinkle effect. Methods: In present study, calli SM were cultured Quality by Design (QbD) was implemented to investigate effect different types concentrations elicitors; jasmonic (JA) salicylic (SA). Both raised RA levels yet, (50 µM) resulted in highest yield RA, at 16 mg/g. A nanofiber patch prepared characterized in-vitro release percentage, drug content, swelling degree, scanning electron microscope, surface roughness. Then, tested UV wrinkle-induced mouse model. Results: Interestingly, after treatment, there visibly fewer wrinkles, skin softer than untreated control group. This study suggests that treatment exerted through Nrf2/Keap1 pathway, plays crucial role cellular antioxidant protective processes. By activating pathway boosting Nrf2 diminishing Keap1 enhances production enzymes, such as superoxide dismutase glutathione peroxidase, enhancesglutathione, reduces lipid peroxidation, collectively indicating enhanced quality. Conclusions: conclusion, highlights importance formula an future clinical studies are recommended further unveil potential formula.

Abstract Microemulsion gels (MGs) are nanostructured systems created by the addition of thickening agents/biopolymers to a microemulsion's aqueous or oily phases, offering benefits like improved solubilization, enhanced stability, high encapsulation efficiency, and sustained release with versatile applications in food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetology. MGs intricate thermodynamic robustness controllable rheological characteristics crucial for obtaining structural integrity achieving innovative results regarding food product development diverse areas including colloidal carriers, packaging, active compound delivery, antimicrobial vectors, production biopolymer nanoparticles. Therefore, comprehensive analysis, hence understanding about MG systems, is needed identify trends gaps, helping researchers promising innovation providing direction future research. This review offers analysis their characteristics, formulation, formation mechanisms, design approaches, digestion dynamics, properties. excel solubilizing hydrophilic lipophilic bioactives due viscosity interconnected droplet network within gel matrix. Despite advantages, challenges, such as formulation complexity, require further understanding. article also explores biopolymers, characterization, extensive applications, while addressing case studies, emerging leveraging potential enhancing functionality, nutritional value.
