Gastric cancer (GC), a common and high-mortality disease, still occupies an important position in current research, Helicobacter pylori ( H. ) infection as its risk factor has been hot challenging research area. Among the numerous pathogenic factors of , virulence protein CagA widely studied only bacterial-derived oncoprotein. It was found that entering into gastric epithelial cells (GECs) can induce dysregulation multiple cellular pathways such MAPK signaling pathway, PI3K/Akt NF-κB Wnt/β-catenin JAK-STAT Hippo pathway through phosphorylation non-phosphorylation. These disordered cause pathological changes morphology, adhesion, polarity, proliferation, movement, other processes GECs, which eventually promotes occurrence GC. With deepening -related on CagA-induced abnormal updated deepened to some extent, so key activated by are used main stem sort out pathogenesis this paper, aiming provide new strategies for treatment GC future.

Abstract Background The question of whether eradication Helicobacter pylori (Hp) can reverse gastric precancerous lesions, including intestinal metaplasia, remains uncertain, leading to ongoing debate. Therefore, a meta‐analysis was performed evaluate the effect Hp on lesions. Materials and Methods PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web Science, Scopus database, ClinicalTrials.gov were systematically searched from inception April 2023 for studies that explored impact Risk ratios (RRs) their 95% confidence intervals (95% CIs) selected as size. We used random‐effects model assess pooled data. also quality assessments, subgroup analyses, sensitivity analyses. Results Fifteen included. Compared with placebo, could significantly prevent progression lesions (RR = 0.87, CI: 0.81–0.94, p < 0.01) them 1.32, 1.17–1.50, 0.01). Then, specific further explored. metaplasia prevented by compared placebo or no treatment 0.80, 0.69–0.94, Moreover, treatment, improved chronic atrophic gastritis 1.84, 1.30–2.61, 1.41, 1.15–1.73, However, in terms preventing dysplasia 0.86, 0.37–2.00) improving 0.89, 0.47–1.70), had advantage treatment. Conclusions therapy them. Notably, be reversed, but this may only appropriate patients epigenetic alterations milder

Chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) is an important stage of precancerous lesions gastric cancer. Effective treatment and regulation CAG are essential to prevent its progression malignancy. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has shown multi-targeted efficacy in treatment, with advantages enhancing mucosal barrier defense, improving microcirculation, modulating inflammatory immune responses, promoting lesion healing, etc. Clinical studies meta-analyses indicate that TCM provides significant benefits, specific herbal compounds monomers demonstrating protective effects on the mucosa through mechanisms including anti-inflammation, anti-oxidation, cellular proliferation apoptosis, Finally, it pointed out requires standardized research unified standards, constantly clarifies improves evaluation criteria each dimension function.

Colorectal cancer is a prevalent malignant tumor with complex and diverse pathogenesis. In recent years, natural products have shown promising application prospects as sources of anticancer drugs. BBR, class benzoquinoline alkaloids extracted from various plants, widely used in disease treatments owing to its pharmacological activities, including antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anticancer, anti-angiogenesis properties. Research has demonstrated that BBR exerts an anti-Salmonella -Escherichia coli infection effect, attenuating inflammatory reactions by inhibiting harmful bacteria. During the stage colorectal precancerous lesions, inhibits activity cell cyclin regulating PI3K/AKT, MAPK, Wnt signaling pathways, thereby decelerating cycle progression polyp or adenoma cells. Moreover, inhibitory effect on primarily occurs through regulation cycle, anti-angiogenesis, gut microbiota, antioxidant pathways. The specific involved pathways include MPK/ERK, NF-kB, EGFR encompassing Bcl-2 family proteins, vascular endothelial growth factor, superoxide dismutase. This study reviews summarizes, for first time, mechanisms action carcinogenesis process cancer, providing novel insights clinical intestinal diseases.
