Method This a secondary analysis of data from larger on eating disorders. present sample included adults ( N = 147, 83% women) diagnosed with sub‐threshold (41%) or full‐threshold (59%) bulimia nervosa (BN). Foods were assessed using Eating Pathology Symptoms Inventory–Clinician Rated Version. A standardized definition developed previously applied episodes. Wilcoxon matched‐pairs signed‐rank used difference total caloric (KcalHPF) percentage (PercHPF) relative Four linear regression models tested (KcalHPF PercHPF) both types (binge restricting) as predictors Results There significant median KcalHPF (1846.6 vs. 279.6; Z −13.38, p < .001) PercHPF (95% 61%; −7.35, .001). Regression analyses demonstrated that significantly associated frequency B 0.002; .001), but not .287). Four dietary behaviours were examined: inadequate fruit intake, vegetable daily consumption soft drinks, weekly fast-food consumption. random-effects meta-analysis estimate overall regional pooled prevalence. Mixed-effect multilevel logistic regressions adjusted odds ratios (aORs) in relation distress. Among 222,401 school-going (53.3% girls), 17.9%, with girls reporting higher than boys (20.8% vs. 14.9%).
