ABSTRACT Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is characterized by progressive interstitial fibrosis, contributing to high global mortality due limited treatment options. Contemporary findings highlight the potential of natural compounds for CKD treatment. Bergapten (BGT), a bioactive furocoumarin, recognized its antioxidant and anti‐inflammatory properties but remains unexplored as an antifibrotic agent. The targets BGT were identified using network pharmacology in silico approaches. effects evaluated transforming growth factor (TGF)‐β1–induced normal rat fibroblast (NRK‐49F) cells. For vivo validation, was induced mice unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO). Immunocytochemistry, histopathological analysis, immunoblotting conducted assess on activation, renal microstructural changes, expression profibrotic markers. Network analysis revealed 119 BGT‐target genes involved including those TGF‐β1 signaling pathway. Molecular docking confirmed interaction with TGF‐β receptor 1 (TGFR1). Coffee is one of the most widely consumed beverages worldwide, and epidemiology studies associate higher coffee consumption with decreased rates mortality neurological metabolic diseases, including Parkinson's disease type 2 diabetes. In addition, there also evidence that associated lower colon rectal cancer, as well breast, endometrial, other cancers, although for some these results are conflicting. These reflect chemopreventive effects coffee; may be therapeutic forms breast this needs to further investigated. Catechins, a class of phytochemicals found in various fruits and tea leaves, have garnered attention for their diverse health-promoting properties, including potential combating neurodegenerative diseases. Among these catechins, (-)-epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), the most abundant polyphenol green tea, has emerged as promising therapeutic agent due to its potent antioxidant anti-inflammatory effects. Chronic neuroinflammation oxidative stress are key pathological mechanisms diseases such Alzheimer's disease (AD) Parkinson's (PD). EGCG neuroprotective efficacy scavenging free radicals, reducing attenuating neuroinflammatory processes. This review discusses molecular EGCG's anti-oxidative chronic neuroinflammation, emphasizing effects on autoimmune responses, neuroimmune system interactions, focusing related AD PD. By elucidating action impact processes, this underscores intervention AD, PD, possibly other Overall, emerges natural compound stress, offering novel avenues strategies treatment disorders.
