Flavonoids, a variety of plant secondary metabolites, are known for their diverse biological activities. Isoflavones subgroup flavonoids that have gained attention potential health benefits. The biflavonoid extraction from ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba L.) leaves using solvent-based with 70% ethanol, alone and in combination enzyme-assisted, ultrasound-assisted, mechanical-assisted, chemically assisted methods was investigated the influence of duration explored. total content polyphenols, flavonoids, phenolic acids extracts determined spectrophotometrically, while individual biflavonoids were identified quantified HPLC-DAD. Amentoflavone, bilobetin, ginkgetin, isoginkgetin, sciadopitysin all our extracts. Among these, emerged as most prevalent an amount above 1 mg g−1 dw, followed by isoginkgetin. Comparative analysis revealed that, except for extraction, similar levels compounds obtained after 45 min extraction. Abstract The antioxidant activity of Ginkgo biloba leaf (GBL) extract is closely related to its efficacy against various diseases; however, the activities specific constituents GBL remain unclear.
