World aquaculture is increasingly diversified and intensive, due to the use of new technologies, having grown a lot in recent decades contributed significantly improving food security reducing poverty world, with fish farming being promising activity for production protein high nutritional value. The large companies that recognize potential this important modality have invested study various productive segments most diverse species fish. This review article aims provide information on world panorama marine farming, main systems stages organisms commercial potential, aiming achieve highly sustainable production, content benefits human health. live feed larval stage should be highlighted, order optimize survival weight gain. In addition, trends cultivation estuarine saltwater will detailed review, such as biotechnology technological innovations, cultivations integration, biosecurity. Thus, innovative methods system need more ecosustainable, negative impacts environmental level.

Aquaculture is a major source of protein in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), region experiencing rapid population growth, changing lifestyles and preferences, increased health awareness. However, the industry still underdeveloped subsistence nature. Climate change has impacted aquaculture production (AQUAP) SSA because greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. AQUAP activities also results GHG In SSA, causal effect emissions not yet been empirically established quantified. The objective study was to determine relationship between SSA. parsimonious vector autoregressive (VAR) model used study, with annual time series data Gross Domestic Product (GDP), meat (MP), emissions, from 1970 2020. findings demonstrate that suppressed until 2006 when it suddenly increased. Western Central have dominated were dropping sporadically 1991 they began rise gradually. both long short run, had negative influence on AQUAP, while an asymmetric impact impacts GDP positively GDP. conclusion, negatively affect AQUAP. addition, reduced run but however run. This indicates infancy sector initial phase Environmental Kuznets Curves (EKC). Furthermore, affected by cements stages EKC, economic development powered positive contribution growth. Overall, concludes economic, sectoral this leading recommends upscaling given its infancy, huge potential, sustainability low emission potential should be grounded environmentally sustainable practices.

Phytochemicals are used in fish farming to reduce stress and combat diseases during intensification. Recently, nanotechnology has represented a paradigm shift the aquatic feed industry improve solubility, availability, efficacy of phytochemicals. The purpose this research was investigate effects dietary supplementation with nano-curcumin (CUNE) on growth, utilization, body composition, blood biochemistry, antioxidant status, disease resistance Vibrio parahaemolyticus (V. parahaemolyticus), expression insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1), hormone (GH), interleukin-10 (IL-10), interlukin-1β (IL-1β) genes European Seabass (Dicentrarchus labrax) fingerlings. Fish (6.02±0.01) were randomly divided into four equal groups fed varying levels CUNE: 0 (CUNE0), 50 (CUNE1), 60 (CUNE2), 70 mg/kg (CUNE3) for 56 days, respectively. inclusion CUNE significantly improved indices (final weight gain, specific rate) utilization (improved intake lower FCR) seabass fingerlings (p<0.05). However, had no significant effect composition including percentages dry mater, crude protein, lipid, ash (p>0.05). All established an enhancement hematology dose-dependent manner, CUNE3 demonstrating highest values. (70 diet) produced total albumin, globulin, triglycerides, as well lowest glucose, hepatic enzymes (ALT, AST, ALP; p<0.05) compared other groups. Furthermore, CUNE-supplemented showed improvements superoxide dismutase, catalase, glutathione peroxidase, while reducing malondialdehyde Additionally, consumption increased IGF-1, GH, IL-10 manner Interestingly, mg their diets IL-1β gene When challenged V. parahaemolyticus, addition resulted reduced mortality rates. Therefore, could be considered natural additive promote bacteria via supporting serum metabolites, regulation IL-10, IGF-1 tissues

Abstract Globally there is already a lot of pressure on water resources because climate change, economic development, as well an increasing global populace. Many rivers originate in the mountains, where snowfall fluctuations and climate’s inherent unpredictability affect hydrological processes. Climate change sensitivity has been recognized recent years would hydropower, such humidity, cloudiness, precipitation, that are considered; warming emerges one most important contributors to change. The Yangtze River supports rich biodiversity provides ecosystem services for human survival development. In addition, changes, particularly short-term long-term precipitation temperature fluctuations, influence snow regime development river flow response at basin sub-basin scales. More precise this review focused understand hydropower potential, freshwater fisheries, dynamics snow-dominated basins.

The global trade in transportation industry has complex socio-economic, resource, and environmental (SRE) footprints. Linking these footprints with sustainability frameworks is crucial for driving (TI-S). Here, we analyze develop a TI-S assessment system 26 SRE indicators 16 targets. We find that increases scores; developed economies excel resource targets, developing progress more employment tax For South Africa, Russia, Australia, improvements the socio-economic target scores do not offset decreases scores. In terms of interaction between enhances synergies among targets economies; this consistently case economies. These findings highlight heterogeneous impact on TI-S. paper closes by proposing measures to promote progress, which could help inform adjustments industrial policies.
