This paper investigates the effect of circular economy on CO2 emissions growth by considering role energy transition, climate policy stringency, industrialization, and supply chain pressure from 1997 to 2020 using panel quantile Autoregressive Distributed Lags (QARDL) PMG. We employ cointegration association in long run among variables, results two models confirm this. Findings reveal that stringency significantly negatively impact carbon emissions. On other hand, pressures are crucial determining short run. The finding further explores municipal waste generation recycling is considerable at mean upper 90th quantiles than lower quantile. Therefore, empirical current study provide acumens for policymakers advanced economies emerging markets maintain balance economy, environmental reducing without halting economic sustainable development. Furthermore, practical implications reported through lens neutrality structural changes.

The escalating levels of environmental degradation along with conflicts and incidents trade disputes among regional powers can exert a detrimental influence on the prospects for achieving sustainable development (SUD). Prior empirical works have tended to overlook contributions globalization external SUD. Furthermore, prevailing studies SUD often rely various metrics, economic growth measures, or adjusted net savings as proxies, which fall short in measuring multifaceted essence concept. Thus, this research work assesses heterogeneous effects globalization, conflicts, financial comprehensive index based environmental, economic, social factors from 1992 2019 twenty highest CO2 emitters. results derived application method moment quantile regressions (MM-QR) reveal that exerts negative impact but its effect shows diminishing trend when moving 10th 90th quantile. Financial likewise impedes SUD, degree hindrance quantiles ascend lower upper percentiles. External hinder only at higher demonstrating an increasing trend. mineral resources fossil energy pose these adverse exhibit mounting trajectory one moves quantiles. Finally, policy implications novel outcomes are discussed.

Abstract In recent decades, the detrimental impacts of climate change have been increasingly felt worldwide. This is due to extreme consumption natural resources fuel economic activity. Confronting a widening ecological deficit, humanity must urgently accelerate its journey toward sustainable development goals (SDGs). demands active efforts curb environmental pollution and protect resources, safeguarding planet for future generations. Since Brazil has high biocapacity areas, impact energy on sustainability policies cannot be excluded. Moreover, holds vital position in world global foreign direct investment flows. this regard, paper considers asymmetric mineral rents investments when investigating Brazil's sustainability. addition, it evaluates elements like growth low‐carbon from 1970 2021. To end, research applies Fourier nonlinear autoregressive distributed lag model draws three significant conclusions. First, resource extraction undermines Second, inflow reduces load capacity factor, implying that haven hypothesis Brazil. Third, contributes Our findings highlight critical role regulating achieving SDGs increasing clean sources transitioning can promote The Brazilian government should abandon extraction, focus consumption, prevent companies destroying nature by introducing strict regulations

This study investigates the effect of global supply chain pressures and crude oil prices on consumer price index from October 1997 to February 2022 using panel linear nonlinear autoregressive distributed lags (ARDLs, NARDLs). The results showed that asymmetric inflation rate is stronger when increases than it decreases in long run for advanced economies vice versa emerging markets. A one standard deviation has rebounded by about 1.7% 0.71% markets, respectively. findings establish a 10 U.S. dollar increase leads rise 0.1%–0.6% all countries short run. However, impact fits much better with run, including subprime crisis, such as COVID‐19 outbreak, beginning Russo–Ukrainian conflict. Thus, empirical current provide acumens policymakers markets consume green energy make use technology environmental innovations counterbalancing issues induced higher rates without halting economic growth sustainable development.
