Lobularia
maritima
(sweet
alyssum)
is
a
popular
ornamental
plant
that
displays
range
of
flower
colors,
particularly
white
and
purple.
However,
the
genetic
underpinning
evolutionary
history
colors
have
remained
unknown.
To
address
this,
we
performed
de
novo
assembly
chromosome-level
genome
for
this
species
conducted
comparative
population
genomic
analyses
both
domestic
wild
representatives.
These
revealed
distinct
clusters
corresponding
to
groups,
with
further
subdivisions
based
on
geographic
phenotypic
differences.
Importantly,
all
cultivars
originated
from
single
domestication
event
within
Tunisia
group.
One
group
did
not
contribute
genetically
current
cultivars.
The
new
mutations
in
key
gene
anthocyanin
biosynthetic
pathway,
PAP1,
arose
following
led
origin
purple
coloration
Moreover,
contrasting
PAP1
haplotypes
varieties
lead
differential
expression
CHS
DFR,
which
turn
contributes

color
findings

Rosmarinus
officinalis
L.
has
been
widely
used
as
a
spice
to
enhance
the
shelf-life
of
food
for
centuries.
While
existing
research
in
literature
suggests
that
primary
antibacterial
component
this
plant
is
its
essential
oil
(EO),
there
lack
comparative
studies
employing
both
vitro
and
silico
approaches
evaluate
antimicrobial,
antioxidant,
anticancer,
antidiabetic
properties
R.
leaf
EO
(ROLEO)
methanolic
extract
(ROLME).
The
present
study
investigates
bioactive
components
biological
activities
ROLEO
ROLME
using
gas
chromatography-mass
spectrometry
analysis.
Additionally,
total
phenolic
content
(TPC)
flavonoid
(TFC)
were
quantified,
their
antidiabetic,
evaluated

Essential
oils
(EOs)
from
various
medicinal
and
aromatic
plants
are
known
for
their
diverse
biological
activities,
including
antimicrobial
effects.
Citrus
aurantium
EO
is
traditionally
used
therapeutic
benefits
due
to
its
high
content
of
bioactive
compounds.
Therefore,
this
study
focuses
on
potential
use
as
a
food
preservative
by
investigating
the
combined
antibacterial
properties
EOs
leaves
(EO1),
flowers
(EO2),

branches

bacterial
strains
