Non-steroidal
anti-inflammatory
drugs
(NSAIDs)
have
been
reported
to
be
the
main
pharmaceutical
class
accumulated
in
seafood.
Among
them,
ibuprofen
(IBU)
is
of
special
concern
as
it
used
worldwide
treat
common
pain,
does
not
require
a
medical
prescription,
often
taken
high
daily
dose,
and
has
cause
potential
adverse
effects
on
aquatic
organisms.
IBU
highly
transformed
into
hydroxy-
carboxy-metabolites
and/or
degradation
products
generated
only
after
its
administration
but
also
during
wastewater
treatment
or
environment.
These
compounds
can
present
environment
at
higher
concentrations
than
toxicity.
In
this
work,
low-cost
affordable
routine
analytical
method
was
developed
validated
for
first-time
determination
metabolites
mussels.
The
based
ultrasound-assisted
extraction
(UAE),
clean-up
by
dispersive
solid-phase
(d-SPE)
liquid
chromatography-tandem
mass
spectrometry.

Although
the
presence
of
pharmaceuticals
in
environment
is
an
issue
widely
addressed
research
over
past
two
decades,
still
little
known
about
their
transformation
products.

there

chemicals

more
harmful

(DCF)

both

compounds
have
no
effect

Abstract
Based
on
the
synergistic
action
of
hydrogen
bond
and
electrostatic
interaction,
provided
by
methacrylic
acid
2‐aminoethyl
ester
hydrochloride
(FM2),
respectively,
novel
molecularly
imprinted
polymers
(SA‐MIPs)
were
designed
to
improve
its
selective
recognition
ability.
Diclofenac
sodium
(DFC)
was
chosen
as
template
molecule

Diclofenac
(DIC)
is
one
of

most
widely
consumed
drugs
in
world,
and
