Since the thyroid gland is one of organs most affected by autoimmune processes, many patients with thyroiditis Hashimoto (TH) seek medical advice on lifestyle variance and dietary modifications to improve maintain their hyroid function. In this review, we aim present discuss some challenges associated nutritional management TH, focusing environmental deficits, inflammatory toxic nutrients, cyanotoxins, etc. We relationships among different diets, chronic inflammation, microbiota, impact development exacerbation TH in detail. share novel insights into role vitamin D melatonin for preserving function during inflammation predisposed subjects. Cyanobacteria produce a wide range of structurally diverse cyanotoxins and bioactive cyanopeptides in freshwater, marine, terrestrial ecosystems. The health significance these metabolites, which include genotoxic- neurotoxic agents, is confirmed by continued associations between the occurrence animal human acute toxic events and, long term, cyanobacteria neurodegenerative diseases.
