The current treatment for the autoimmune disease of hypothyroidism (AIDH) is based on pharmacotherapy with levothyroxine. A non-pharmacological supplementary element therapy could be implementation an individualized balanced diet and probiotics. Lactiplantibacillus plantarum 299v (Lp299v), its anti-inflammatory effects, may also support therapy. However, number studies personalized dietary interventions probiotics in AIDH limited, no clear conclusions can drawn from results so far. Therefore, this trial will analyze effect Lp299v supplementation conjunction nutrition education quality life nutritional status patients Hashimoto's. Methods: This double-blind, 12-week intervention study include 100 female AIDH. They divided into two groups: (1) individual + (2) placebo. Before after intervention, selected elements diet, eating behavior, life, (anthropometric parameters, body composition), blood pressure, anti-TPO (antibodies against thyroid peroxidase) titer assessed. Hypothesis: It expected that provide deeper knowledge validity using proper principles Specifically, impact subjective assessment state health

Melatonin has become a popular dietary supplement, most known as chronobiotic, and for establishing healthy sleep. Research over the last decade into cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, multiple sclerosis, fertility, PCOS, many other conditions, combined with COVID-19 pandemic, led to greater awareness of melatonin because its ability act potent antioxidant, immune-active agent, mitochondrial regulator. There are distinct similarities between vitamin D in depth breadth their impact on health. Both hormones, affect systems through immune-modulating, anti-inflammatory functions, found skin, responsive sunlight darkness. In fact, there may be widespread concern about deficiency “sunlight deficiency” reduced secretion result “darkness from overexposure artificial blue light. The trend toward use supplements resulted safety, especially higher doses, long-term use, application certain populations (e.g., children). This review aims evaluate recent data melatonin’s mechanisms, clinical uses beyond sleep, safety concerns, thorough summary therapeutic considerations concerning supplementation, including different formats available (animal, synthetic, phytomelatonin), dosing, timing, contraindications, nutrient combinations.

Resveratrol is a stilbenoid from red grapes that possesses strong antioxidant activity. has been shown to have anticancer activity, making it promising drug for the treatment and prevention of numerous cancers. Several in vitro vivo investigations validated resveratrol’s capabilities, demonstrating its ability block all steps carcinogenesis (such as initiation, promotion, progression). Additionally, resveratrol found auxiliary pharmacological effects such anti-inflammatory, cardioprotective, neuroprotective Despite properties, several obstacles, poor solubility bioavailability, well adverse effects, continue be key obstacles development. This review critically evaluates clinical trials date aims develop framework into clinically viable drug.

Diet can be a complementary treatment for Hashimoto’s disease by affecting thyroid function and anti-inflammatory properties. It is still unclear which dietary strategy would the most beneficial. The aim of this systematic review to examine all data currently available in literature on effects nutritional intervention biochemical parameters (anti-thyroid antibody hormones levels) characteristic symptoms course thyroiditis. This was prepared based PRISMA guidelines. Articles PubMed Scopus databases published up November 2022 were searched. As result selection, out 1350 publications, 9 included further analysis. interventions following: elimination gluten (3 articles) or lactose (1 article), energy restriction with without excluding selected foods (n = 2), consumption Nigella sativa iodine 1). duration ranged from 21 days 12 months individuals various function. Of nine studies, three studies female only. An improvement observed during an deficit after ingredients (e.g., gluten, lactose, goitrogens), as well sativa. These improved levels against peroxidase (anti-TPO), (thyrotropin) TSH, free thyroxine (fT4). No seen iodine-restricted diet. Varied outcomes analyzed may due heterogeneous condition, high variability between patients, differences habitual intake critical nutrients iodine, selenium, iron) different populations. Hashimoto’s thyroiditis (HT) is the leading cause of hypothyroidism, affecting mainly female population. Many patients with HT have metabolic disorders and nutritional deficiencies. The aim this study was to evaluate vitamin D, A, E, B2, B6 concentrations, thyroid function, profile, anthropometric parameters thyroiditis. In 81 (study group), A B2 concentrations were significantly lower than in 34 healthy women (control group). No differences noted between groups. Moreover, had similar parameters, lipid profiles, glucose insulin compared controls. This showed some relationships or biochemical profiles patients. Among others, group, concentration D positively correlated level HDL negatively BMI, total fat mass, level, which influence cardiovascular risk. results indicate that should be routinely tested for prevent Further studies are also needed on role vitamins development progression presence complications
