Abstract Implementing circular economy (CE) requires complex and dynamic changes in technical behavioural aspects. Few studies spend efforts to understand the organizational side of CE transition. Thus, this study proposes a theoretical framework that addresses requirements for transition towards from perspective. We conducted systematic review aiming identify relations between culture. As result, we developed composed five building blocks (mindsets, values, behaviours, capabilities competences) guide CE‐oriented culture achieve sustainability business. also identified several gaps future researches. concluded could enrich literature discussion field be used by practitioners identification paths implement In addition, use lead achievement sustainable development.

With the introduction of Industry 4.0, and smart factories accordingly, there are new opportunities to implement elements industry 4.0 in nonthermal processing. Moreover, with application Internet things (IoT), control process, big data optimization, as well sustainable production monitoring, is a era food processing technologies (IoNTP). Nonthermal include high power ultrasound, pulsed electric fields, voltage electrical discharge, pressure processing, UV-LED, light, e-beam, advanced thermal techniques microwave ohmic heating high-pressure homogenization. The aim this review was bring front necessity evaluate possibilities implementing sensors, artificial intelligence (AI), data, additive technologies, possibility create together strong emphasis on sustainability. This paper brings an overview digitalization, IoT, (3D printing), cloud storage sensors including two SWOT analysis associated IoNTPs It importance perform life cycle assessment (LCA), quantify (En)—environmental dimension; (So)—social dimension (Ec)—economic dimension. showed: potential for energy saving during processing; optimized overall environmental performance; lower manufacturing cost; development eco-friendly products; higher level health safety better work condition workers. can be applied also working line goals (SDGs) Agenda 2030 issued by United Nations (UN).

The enabling role of Digital Technologies towards the Circular Economy transition has been recognized. Nonetheless, to support transition, operationalization discourse is still needed. present study performs a systematic literature review, deepening knowledge on in operationalizing transition. analysis shaped according ReSOLVE framework, as it recognized able operationally guide industrial firms Despite broad focus topic by extant literature, results show limited aspects addressed and specific technologies considered, making difficult have complete overview implementation operatively addressing it. Shortcomings are identified regarding lack an integrated holistic relationships, need for investigating decision-making process practices, all from empirical perspective. paper eventually suggests streams further research while offering theoretical practical implications.

Abstract The circular economy (CE) emerged as an alternative model to the linear system foster sustainable development. Entrepreneurship represents a key factor in capturing new business opportunities. Research on entrepreneurship remains at early phase and is correspondingly somewhat dispersed. Thus, research objective here bring into focus of discussions CE through systematic literature review. In absence any review this theme, work aims map relevant identify themes discussed straddling currently dispersed across existing literature. Based sample 102 articles collected from Scopus Web Science databases, approach identified four thematic groups: growing SMEs, born firms start‐ups, social CE, support ecosystem for entrepreneurship. A greater emphasis study SMEs detriment other groups observed. Also, field mainly focused European countries. We then propose future agenda conceptual entrepreneurial process point departure further developing deepening
