In higher education, the learning of Unit Operations in Chemical Engineering and development practical activities became a real challenge. Therefore, use emerging technologies necessary to develop laboratory due inaccessibility equipment infrastructure. this study, Project-Based Learning methodology was assisted with Augmented Reality (AR) technology for subjects. The educational experiment application basic topic course as project each subject proposed. results were presented using Zappar application, unique rubric used evaluation project. students’ motivation measured Keller’s Attention, Relevance, Confidence Satisfaction (ARCS) model by Instructional Materials Motivation Survey (IMMS). attention, confidence satisfaction demonstrate an acceptable reliability comparison relevance, which considered moderate reliability. Above 96% students that activities, materials, organization information AR caught their attention encouraged interest towards fundamentals applied Around 80% expressed concern about ease use, understood aim 85% recognized relevance usefulness, meaningful tool. 90% helped them competencies. Cronbach’s Alpha indicate IMMS instrument. Regarding IMMS, values superior 0.7, could be acceptable. For individual ARCS dimensions, alpha reached 0.94.

A statistical teachers’ views on academic environment caused by COVID-19 crisis carried out for change educational scenarios school home through VLP, support teaching–learning knowledge VLPs and received training, main problems during period. Through convenience sampling, data was collected a study using developed instrument (Data collection designed Google Forms application distributed public private HEI teachers). The results showed that more than 60% respondents had experience Moodle, Classroom, Blackboard; 80% training their institution virtual platforms; cases, higher education institutions allowed them choose VLP. addition, issues they faced were connectivity, student attitude, attendance at class sessions. Fisher’s test conducted determine relationship variables analyzed identifying there are differences depending age.

The COVID-19 pandemic has enforced higher education institutions to adopt emergency remote teaching (ERT) as the substitution for traditional face-to-face (F2F) classes. A lot of concerns have been raised among institutions, faculty, and students regarding effectiveness this sudden shift online learning. This study aims statistically investigate impacts such a transition on academic performance undergraduate enrolled in Financial Engineering course. novel rank percentage measure is proposed employed compare around 500 who attended course during four semesters, including transitional disrupted semester by pandemic, two consecutive classroom. Our analysis emphasizes significance differences between specific subgroups students. In particular, academically average good with cumulative GPAs greater than 2.90 negatively impacted learning, whereas results less are not very conclusive. Realizing effects closures considered important, since might some merits other courses instructors. template model can be transferred courses, university administrators, specifically developing policies circumstances that limited pandemics.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, most Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across globe moved towards “emergency online education”, experiencing a metamorphosis that advanced their capacities and competencies as never before. Teaching Learning Centers (TLCs), internal units promote sustainable transformations, can play key role in making this last. Existing models for TLCs have defined they could help develop, focusing on teachers’, students’, managers’ development, but mislead aspects such leadership, organizational processes, infrastructures. This paper evaluates PROF-XXI framework, which offers holistic perspective should develop supporting deep transformations of HEIs. The framework was evaluated with 83 participants from four Latin American institutions used analyzing transformation teaching learning practices during pandemic lockdown. result analysis shows useful identifying addressed by institutions, deficiencies, strategic changes. Specifically, study counted training plans teachers before period, mainly digital technologies pedagogical quality, other initiatives were created to reinforce them, including students’ support actions.

E-learning systems, which previous research had found to be effective voluntary contexts, suddenly became mandatory but proved less for students worldwide. Hence, there is a need academics practitioners revisit the e-learning systems success model post-COVID-19 era. Building upon information models, this study aimed re-specify validate by examining role of monitoring quality. Data were collected from 191 college analyzed using partial least squares approach. results indicated that quality, system service quality positive influence on both user satisfaction communication which, turn, positively impacted loyalty intention subsequently enhanced learning effectiveness. Education is the most important part of sustainable society development. Traditional approaches to permanent lifelong educator training often fail produce lasting changes in teaching practices (UN, Goal 4). This paper examines how involvement a professional learning community (PLC) ensures equitable quality education and promotes opportunities for all digital transformation process. Participation PLC use contemporary environments positively impact educators’ work, thereby enhancing overall educational study utilised quantitative methodology, employing both descriptive inferential statistics analyse data. Results indicate that balanced integration formal structures guidance, combined with elements non-formal, broader external incentives support (such as projects), can surpass mere exchanges best practices, foster innovation, educators. approach leads shift pedagogical paradigms. The PLC_IP model (focused on including technologies effective strategies) enhances collective efficacy, contributing improved quality. For PLCs achieve sustainability, they must be dynamic entities adapt evolving landscape, ensuring their continued relevance rising completion rates over time. Our findings underscore importance innovative driving development improvement provide framework future research practical applications settings.
