Community gardens (CGs) are perceived by different groups of people as important providers a wide range ecosystem services (ES). The aim this paper is to find out whether and how perception differs. The engagement of senior citizens with urban nature has been shown to provide multiple health benefits and mitigate issues associated demographic aging. This review utilized the PRISMA methodology systematically analyze relationship between monitoring tools, seniors' behaviors in nature, influencing factors. main findings are as follows: (1) 4 types, including self-reports, on-site observations, sensors, third-party data, 24 sub-types measurement tools: ranging from questionnaires crowdsourced imagery services. The renovation of public space environments in old residential areas has become the focal point Chinese urban renewal and promotion sustainable development; thus, an urgent need for research expansion is attached to identifying environmental factors their impacts from perspective residents’ needs satisfaction. This research aimed to identify the main factors that motivate and sustain participation in urban agriculture. The environment-conscious behavior model was applied analyze influencing continued engagement such initiatives. However, despite the recent interest farming, studies on profiles of farmers are lacking. This study aimed clarify motivations gardeners, features farmers, differences between non-urban farmers. To address the problem of accurately evaluating age-friendly retrofit indicators in urban communities, this study constructs an evaluation model that takes into account user preferences and their interaction needs based on social–ecological–technological systems (SETS) theory. The aims to establish a set precise community indicators, covering aspects such as public participation level, ancillary facilities, green space layout, living environment building, health service support, accessible design. Resettlement communities arising from China’s urbanization process accommodate both landless resettled villagers and non-resettled who migrate to cities for work. Community gardens help increase interactions in resettlement facilitate the integration of residents into community. This paper, based on differing characteristics scarcity outdoor public space, studies participation willingness their preferences construction community gardens. Children spend most of their time at school; thus, agricultural experiences (AEs) in school gardens through organizations are important for children to remain connected agriculture and nature.
