Given their exceptional performance, plastic packaging products are widely used in daily life, and the dramatic expansion waste (PPW) has exacerbated environmental problems. Many countries have enacted laws developed recycling technologies to manage consideration of nature PPW as both garbage a resource. As world’s largest producer consumer plastics, China also taken measures address this issue. This paper presents latest management regulations strategies for China. Based on an analysis current status carbon emission impacts, some suggestions comprehensive full-chain process were put forward. Consumers’ Intention to Bring a Reusable Bag for Shopping in China: Extending the Theory of Planned Behavior DOI Open Access

Bringing a reusable bag for shopping is typical pro-environmental behavior and has been shown to be effective in reducing plastics, but research regarding this green limited. In regard, using the snowball sampling technique, study conducts survey on sample of 361 Chinese consumers investigate their intention bring based theory planned behavior. To increase explaining power behavioral intention, extended TPB by adding two additional variables: locus control environmental concern. Data was analyzed structural equation modeling technique. Results show that attitude, perceived control, subjective norm exert significant positive influence consumers' bags shopping, exerts greatest influence, followed attitude norm. Both concern fail directly impact bringing they could indirectly. Specifically, external negative control. Environmental positively impacts attitudes towards shopping. provide valuable insights into plastics management policy design promote behaviors. Despite China having an international reputation as one of the largest contributors to plastic pollution in world’s oceans, research analyzing China’s regulatory approach governing has been limited and fragmented, such, little is known about trends trajectories dominating policy landscape. Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) has become the most common in western countries. We aimed to ascertain relationship of urinary phthalates concentrations with presence NAFLD among US adults. A cross-sectional analysis data from National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) during 2003–2016 was performed. predicted by Hepatic Steatosis Index (HSI) Fatty Liver (US FLI), respectively. The logistic regression models were conducted evaluate associations adjustment for other covariates. Of 4206 participants (mean age 47.99 years old; 50.06% men), risk suspected increased those higher phthalates. results multivariate suggested that phthalate metabolites MEOHP (odds ratio [OR] = 1.56, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.08–2.24), MEHHP (OR 1.55, CI 1.09–2.21), MECPP 1.44, 1.06–1.95) mixtures nine 1.58, 95%CI 1.18–2.11) positively related defined HSI; similar significant observed 1.98, 1.32–2.97) when determined based upon FLI ≥30.
