Methods: A prospective, multi-site observational study was completed across 14 centers England April 23, 2020, December 21, 2022. Demographic, COVID infection were collected. Anti-spike decreased almost 25-fold first third trimester ( P =0.013). Placental antibodies post-infection showed varied results depending on assay used, higher ratios observed measuring Fc-mediated effector functions IgG-specific responses. Conclusions: associated successful neonate, particularly early pregnancy. Further needed determine mechanism by timing affects transfer. When placental antibodies, consideration use essential.
