The benzotriazole UV stabilizer UV-328 is well known for its potent antioxidative properties; however, there are concerns about how it may affect signaling nodes and lead to negative consequences. This study identified the key cascades involved in oxidative stress zebrafish (Danio rerio) larvae evaluated cell cycle arrests associated developmental alternations. Personal care products contain chemicals that are considered of emerging concern in the Arctic. In this study, a selected group personal was investigated snowpack on north-western Spitsbergen. We report preliminary study spatial and seasonal distribution 13 ingredients commonly found products, including fragrance materials, UV filters, BHT BPA. En consecuencia, es necesario relevar periódicamente naturales, conocer estado situación generar análisis integrales brinden información relevante estas especies. ambientes marinos costeros Sudamérica no están exentos impacto son consideradas buenas monitoras calidad ambiental, importante qué nos brindan sobre presencia ambientes. Despite benzotriazole UV stabilizers (BT-UVs) being widely used since the 1960s, few empirical data on their atmospheric presence exist. UV-328 was added to Stockholm Convention Persistent Organic Pollutants, based in part model calculations indicating long-range transport potential. We investigated occurrence of BT-UVs at multiple sites that differ greatly proximity potential sources. UV-P, UV-328, UV-234, UV-326, UV-329, and UV-327 were quantified active air samples collected suburban Toronto, Saturna Island Salish Sea, Point Petre Lake Ontario, Alert, Nunavut, as well XAD-resin passive samplers deployed British Columbia Quebec. As most volatile BT-UV, UV-P present gas phase across all sampling locations, with higher concentrations urban areas. The five less only from Toronto not found above detection limits (0.03–1.7 pg·m–3) anywhere else. Empirical evidence thus does support predictions particle-bound BT-UVs.
