Synthetic fungicides have experienced a significant increase in recent years, necessitating the search for more sustainable and environmentally friendly alternatives. In this regard, chitosan has emerged as an option to reduce reliance on these products. This study evaluated effect of biocontrol agent against Fusarium oxysporum tomato fruits. A fully randomized experimental design incorporating 6 treatments was employed, consisting four (0.5, 1, 2, 3 g L -1 ), negative control involving application synthetic fungicide, positive inoculated with F. . Samples were taken from infected The F4 isolate sp. identified , demonstrated highest level virulence. Among treatments, treatment showed percentage mycelial growth inhibition (PMGI) at 79.92% greatest reduction biomass 0.65 g, which did not differ significantly fungicide. Regarding disease severity incidence, there variations among each results obtained 2 treatments. All reduced Applying fruits plant presents alternative diminishing fungicides.

Yeasts are a widespread group of microorganisms that receiving increasing attention from scientists and industry. Their diverse biological activities broad-spectrum antifungal activity make them promising candidates for application, especially in postharvest biocontrol fruits vegetables food biopreservation. The present review focuses on recent knowledge the mechanisms by which yeasts inhibit pathogenic fungi and/or spoilage bacteria. main action bioprotective include competition nutrients space, synthesis secretion antibacterial compounds, mycoparasitism lytic enzymes, biofilm formation, quorum sensing, induced systemic resistance fruit host, as well production reactive oxygen species. Preadaptation to abiotic stresses such cold acclimatization sublethal oxidative stress can improve effectiveness antagonistic thus more effectively play roles under wider range environmental conditions, thereby reducing economic losses. Combined application with other antimicrobial substances efficacy agents. show great potential substitute chemical additives various fields, but their commercialization is still limited. Hence, additional investigation required explore prospective advancements field biopreservation food.

With global climate change, it is essential to find strategies make crops more resistant different stresses and guarantee food security worldwide. E3 ubiquitin ligases are critical regulatory elements that gaining importance due their role in selecting proteins for degradation the ubiquitin-proteasome proteolysis pathway. The of Ub has been demonstrated numerous cellular processes plants responding biotic abiotic stresses. considered a class difficult control by conventional inhibitors, as they lack standard active site with pocket, biological activity mainly protein-protein interactions transient conformational changes. Proteolysis-targeted chimeras (PROTACs) new heterobifunctional molecules have emerged recent years relevant alternatives incurable human diseases like cancer because can target recalcitrant destruction. PROTACs interact system, principally ligase cell, facilitate proteasome turnover interest. PROTAC harness functions proteasomal involved dysfunction. This review examines advances research plant responses It highlights how be applied stress response mitigate pathogenic agents environmental adversities.
