The synthesis of 4-halo-functionalized pyrazoles by electrochemical cascade reactions between N,N-dimethyl enaminones and proper hydrazine reagents in the presence a halogen source is realized at room temperature. work provides tunable efficient accesses to 4-chloro- 4-bromopyrazoles aqueous THF (tetrahydrofuran) without using any transition metal reagent.

Abstract A copper‐catalyzed olefinic C( sp 2 )−H activation/carbene insertion/ester hydrolysis/cyclization sequence has been developed for the synthesis of substituted 2(5 H )‐furanones employing readily available enaminones and aryl diazo esters as substrates. This method features operationally simple good functional group tolerance. The transformation could be scaled up to gram quantities obtained )‐furanone derivatives easily converted a wide range useful synthetic building blocks, indicative applicability strategy. A novel Rh‐catalyzed three‐component synthesis of N ‐( o ‐alkylaryl) pyrazoles via cascade pyrazole annulation and aryl C‐H conjugate addition to alkenes has been developed with enaminones, hydrazines, functionalized as starting materials. The raw materials used in this reaction are simple, cheap, readily available, the reactions feature excellent step economy by furnishing products formation a ring key activation one‐step operation. Abstract An electrochemical protocol for synthesizing tetra ‐substituted sulfonated pyrazoles is developed. The notable feature of this method the electrocatalytic generation an active iodine species, which enables direct use 1,3 dicarbonyls as reactant and also eliminates necessity external electrolytes. The cascade electrochemical C3-selective aerobic oxygenation of 2-substituted indoles and [5 + 3] annulation with amidines through an undivided cell galvanostatic method employing molecular oxygen "electricity" as green oxidants was developed. This article reports an efficient and practical microwave-assisted MMPP-promoted synthesis of novel pyrazolyl sulfones from the corresponding 4-(alkyl/cycloalkylthio)-1H-pyrazoles. The reaction 4-(alkyl/cycloalkylthio)-1H-pyrazoles with magnesium bis(monoperoxyphthalate)hexahydrate (MMPP) as oxidizing agent afforded 4-(alkyl/cycloalkylsulfonyl)-1,3-disubstituted-1H-pyrazoles in 85–95% yield. method's benefits include its straightforward operation, simple workup, use inexpensive, halogen-free MMPP oxidant that is easy to reasonably stable. All synthesized were examined against bacterial fungal strains, notable antimicrobial activity was demonstrated by a few compounds. In order investigate prospect connecting compounds highest yield their opto-electronic properties, time-resolved photoluminescence investigations for 5a, 5b, 5d conducted. tunable spectrum observed micro-second time domain all three cases, fluorescent lifetime found higher compound having methyl group, intermediate phenyl lowest p-nitrophenyl group. Our procedures will encourage additional research into valuable properties now they are widely available structural complexity illustrated here.

An electrochemical tandem cyclization of enaminones with amidines has been reported for the first time using dibromomethane as an initiating agent in undivided cell. Following this protocol, a vast variety polysubstituted 5-acylimidazoles were obtained moderate to good yields without use external oxidants. Mechanistic studies indicate that bromide anion, electroreductively generated from dibromomethane, acts redox mediator complete catalytic cycle.
