Abstract

Unfunctionalized
indoles
can
be
directly
converted
into
3,3′-spirocyclic
indolenines

dihalides

t-BuOK/BEt3.

C–C
bond
forming
reaction,

simultaneously
generates
a
quaternary
spirocyclic
center,

proceeds
