Research suggests that Canadian police officers are exposed to trauma at a greater frequency than the general population. This, combined with other operational stressors, such as risk of physical injury, high consequence error, and strained resources, can leave less resilient organizational stressors. In my experience, significant impactful stressor is ineffective leadership, which include leaders who non-supportive, inconsistent, egocentric, morally ambiguous. Ineffective leadership in context paramilitary culture has been recognized psychologically distressing. Further, moral injury may result when fails meet officers' needs, expectations, values. resulting injuries an understudied area literature. This review will help provide comprehensive policing impact on mental health.

Mental distress burdens student populations; meanwhile, intervention-based studies are insufficient. This pilot study examined the effectiveness of cognitive resilience training (CRT) in enhancing students' mental health. experimental design recruited 29 participants (mean age = 21.70; SD 2.55) from Autonomous University Ciudad Juarez (UACJ) northern Mexico. A questionnaire pack containing General Anxiety Disorder-2, Patient Health Questionnaire-2, Plutchik Suicide Risk Scale, and Brief Resilience Scale was utilized. At pretest, there no significant difference between group (EG) control (CG). posttest, CG scored higher on anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation compared to its EG counterparts. Abstract: Background: As stress continues to mount in everyday life, there is a corresponding uptick emotional distress, notably anxiety and depression. Aims: The present research, grounded the theory of resilience-boosting strategies, explored how daily perceived affects depression, highlighting critical moderating role self-affirmation cognitive pathways, significance positive attention bias improving resilience. Methods: Using diary methodology, data was collected from 241 participants over 14 consecutive days analyzed using multilevel linear model. Results: Daily mediated relationship between anxiety/depression, while acted as cross-level moderator, affecting its mediation effect. Effects of online contemplative practices, especially partner-based on psychological well-being remain mixed, with sparse understanding potential affective-cognitive mechanisms. The study aimed to assess the efficacy two interventions in improving depression, anxiety, emotion regulation (ER), and resilience, evaluate mechanistic role negative attention interpretation biases. Employing a randomized controlled design (n = 285), we compared 10-week mindfulness-based socio-emotional dyadic interventions, both supported by weekly coaching sessions. Mental health aspects were assessed using validated self-report measures biases mouse-contingent Scrambled Sentences Task. Both waitlist control, led reductions depression ER difficulties, while trait anxiety decreased only after mindfulness training. Background: Resilience is a characteristic and skill that nurses can learn. This study examined the current state influencing factors of nurse resilience perceived job-related stressors. Method: cross-sectional survey was conducted at university-affiliated hospital in China between May August 2018. The Connor-Davidson Scale used to measure resilience. Results: A total 2,981 participated study, with an average score 61.35 ± 13.12. Nurse significantly correlated age, years employment, clinical rank, education ( p < .05). Main stressors included frequent inspections examinations, heavy workload, mandatory overtime, low wages.
