Aging and aging-related metabolic complications are global problems that seriously threaten public health. Taxifolin (TAX) is a novel health food has been widely proved to have variety of biological activities used in medicine. However, the delayed effect TAX on aging process not investigated. The purpose this study explore role as natural active substance brain tissue induced by D-galactose (D-Gal) determine supplementing metabolism intestinal flora bodies. model was established intraperitoneal injection D-Gal (800 mg kg-1) once per 3 days for 12 weeks, (20 40 administered daily oral gavage after 6 weeks induction with D-Gal. After testing mice an eight-arm maze, results showed treatment significantly restored spatial learning memory impairment. Moreover, it been demonstrated EA can enhance neuronal viability, reduce defects, alleviate damage neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's cerebral ischemia. Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by gradual cognitive decline. Strong antioxidants that inhibit free radicals, such as polyphenols, reduce the likelihood of developing oxidative stress-related degenerative diseases AD. Naringin, flavonoid found in citrus fruit shown to be neuroprotective, damage and minimize histopathological changes caused ischemic reperfusion, enhance long-term memory AD animal models. This work aimed comprehend role naringin defense cerebellum against aluminum chloride (AlCl3)-induced rats investigating behavioral, neurochemical, immunohistochemical, molecular mechanisms underpin its possible neuroprotective effects. Twenty-four adult albino were divided into four groups (n = 6/group): (i) Control (C) received saline per oral (p.o.), (ii) Naringin(N)-received (100 mg/kg/d) p.o, (iii) AlCl3-recived AlCl3 p.o (iv) + Naringin (AlCl3 N) both for 21 days. Behavioral tests showed an increase time reach platform Morris water maze, indicating impairment AlCl3-treated group, but co-administration significant improvement. The Rotarod test demonstrated decrease muscle coordination while it was improved N group. Antioxidant dietary intervention is considered a potential strategy in delaying age-related dysfunctions. In this study of 56 days, we assessed the antioxidant effects walnut kernel (WK) and septum extract (WSE) D-galactose (D-gal)-induced aging model naturally aged rat model. Young Wistar rats, treated with D-gal (1200 mg/week), old rats received daily WK or WSE added to feed. After 8 weeks, blood, liver, brain samples were collected hematological, biochemical, oxidative stress biomarkers, histological, immunohistochemical analyses performed. Moreover, acetylcholinesterase activity was investigated homogenates. The outcomes demonstrated significant improvement cellular and/or decrease reactive oxygen species, advanced glycation end products, nitric oxide, malondialdehyde, increase glutathione after intake both models. Additionally, showed hypoglycemic effect, lowered activity. Both diets could protect neurons against induced senescence reverse pathological conditions physiological brain. Thus, supplementation can maintain liver health reduce risk diseases, as well onset processes.

Aging is a progressive, accumulative and natural phenomenon that leads to irreversible changes in all molecules, cells, tissues organs of an organism. Previous studies have demonstrated d-galactose (DG) imitates human aging. EA has also shown many pharmacological properties including anti-inflammatory anti-oxidant activities.In the present study, we are aimed evaluate anti-aging effects (0.01-10 μM) on DG-induced aging model SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma using assessment cell proliferation, lipid peroxidation (MDA), intra-cellular reactive oxygen species (ROS), inflammation (TNF-α), total glutathione content (GSH), Beta-Galactosidase (β-GAL) advanced glycation end products (AGEs) levels. Furthermore, were examined HO-1 or PPAR-γ pathways their selective inhibitors ZnPP GW9662, respectively.The results revealed significantly increased proliferation GSH level, while decreased levels ROS, MDA, TNF-α, β-GAL AGEs following Our findings presented pre-incubation with exacerbates toxicity features measured parameters. showed (0.1 1 either GW9662 prevents protective activities TNF-α (p < 0.001 for cases). It was reported that protein hydrolysates or derived peptides have more functionalities than their parent protein. Most functional are identified from various food products, including plant, fish, and land-animal sources. Within a few decades, the application of protein-origin could be divided into two main categories according to applied intentions: 1) preservatives bioactive packing materials; 2) nutraceutical ingredients. According literature, applications on preservative ingredients attracted much attention. However, approach method should changed. Multi-activities, compound formulation, comprehensive evaluation, added value by-products possible strategies. Although there been great results findings in peptides, is still big gap between lab-scale practical applications. Via this narrative review current research, scientists, food/health industry, government authorities cooperate dig new material sources application.
