Overweight
and
obesity
are

people.
These

have
been

inflammatory

that

Nature-based
solutions
including
urban
forests
and
wetlands
can
help
communities
cope
better
with
climate
change
other
environmental
stressors
by
enhancing
social-ecological
resilience.
Natural
ecosystems,
settings,
elements

to

of
stressors,

the
mechanisms

individual-level
nature-based
resilience,

are

well
articulated.

propose
'nature-based
biopsychosocial
resilience
theory'
(NBRT)

gaps.

framework
begins
suggesting
that

adaptive
resources;

processes

resources
deployed.

on
existing
nature-health
perspectives,
we
argue

The

plays
a

stress

Despite

research
on

neurobiology

depressive
disorder
(MDD),
mechanisms
underlying
its
expression
remain
unknown.
