Purpose: The bidirectional communication between the gut and central nervous system mediated by microbiota is closely related to occurrence development of neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Selenium (Se) has been identified as playing a role against AD. Probiotics have beneficial effects on host brain function behavior modulating microbiota-gut-brain axis. Herein, we evaluated protective Lactobacillus casei ATCC 393 ( L. 393) selenium nanoparticles-enriched 393-SeNPs) D-galactose/aluminum chloride-induced AD model mice. Oxidative stress is a critical factor in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease pathogenesis. MicroRNA-200a (miR-200a) reported to target Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1 (Keap1), which regulates nuclear erythroid 2-related 2 (Nrf2) anti-oxidant pathway. Polydatin (3,4′,5-trihydroxy-stilbene-3-β-D-glucoside), polyphenol found the rhizome of Polygonum cuspidatum, have anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory and anti-hyperlipidemic effects. However, whether miR-200a controls Keap1/Nrf2 pathway fructose-induced inflammation lipid deposition blockade polydatin are still not clear. Here, we detected down-regulation, Keap1 up-regulation, Nrf2 antioxidant inactivation, ROS-driven thioredoxin-interacting (TXNIP) over-expression, NOD-like receptor (NLR) family, pyrin domain containing 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome activation dysregulation peroxisome proliferator activated receptor-α (PPAR-α), carnitine palmitoyl transferase-1 (CPT-1), sterol regulatory element binging (SREBP-1) stearoyl-CoA desaturase-1 (SCD-1) rat livers, BRL-3A HepG2 cells under high fructose induction. D-galactose (gal) been reported to cause symptoms of rats, accompanied by liver brain injuries. Our study aimed investigate potential antioxidative, anti-inflammatory anti-apoptotic effects ellagic acid explore how these act on rats a D-gal-induced model. Fine particulate matter (PM2.5) pollution arouses public health concerns over the world. Increasing epidemiologic evidence suggests that exposure to ambient airborne PM2.5 increases risk of female infertility. However, relatively few studies have systematically explored harmful effect chronic on ovarian function and underlying mechanisms. In this study, C57BL/6J mice are exposed filtered air or urban for 4 months through a whole-body system. It is found significantly caused alteration estrus cycles, reproductivity, hormone levels, reserve. The granulosa cell apoptosis via mitochondria dependent pathway contributes follicle atresia. With RNA-sequencing technique, differentially expressed genes induced by mainly enriched in steroidogenesis, reactive oxygen species oxidative phosphorylation pathways. Furthermore, it increased profoundly exacerbated stress inflammation NF-κB/IL-6 signaling pathway. Notably, dietary polydatin (PD) supplement has protective against PM2.5-induced dysfunction.These striking findings demonstrate and/or critical factor dysfunction mitochondria-dependent NF-κB/IL-6-mediated pathway, PD may serve as pharmaceutic candidate pollution-associated dysfunction.
