Hydrogels are essential biomaterials due to their favorable biocompatibility, mechanical properties similar human soft tissue extracellular matrix, and repair properties. In skin wound repair, hydrogels with antibacterial functions especially suitable for dressing applications, so novel hydrogel dressings have attracted widespread attention, including the design of components, optimization preparation methods, strategies reduce bacterial resistance, etc. this review, we discuss fabrication challenges associated crosslinking methods chemistry materials. Abstract Photothermal therapy (PTT) has emerged as an attractive technique for the treatment of bacterial infections. However, uncontrolled heat generation in conventional PTT inevitably causes thermal damages to healthy tissues and/or organs. It is thus essential develop a smart and universal strategy regulate photothermal equilibrium temperature preset safe threshold. Abstract Aggregation induced emission (AIE) photosensitizers have attracted great attention due to their good performance in photodynamic therapy (PDT). However, the therapeutic effect of AIE photosensitizer is often highly dependent on biological microenvironment because it difficult produce type I and II reactive oxygen species (ROS) simultaneously. Herein, an electron‐rich anion‐ π + AIEgen Pys‐QM‐TT reported, which capable generating ROS realizing near‐infrared fluorescence imaging synchronously. In rational design photosensitizer, strong electron‐donating triphenylamine unit, π‐bridge thiophene electron‐withdrawing pyridinium salt unit can enhance D–π–A behavior, thereby improving intramolecular charge transfer extending wavelength. Meanwhile, powerful supposed reduce ∆ E S‐T promote intersystem crossing processes, thus increasing generation ROS. addition, negatively charged anion group provides environment for excited so as electron generate Therefore, not only simultaneously with weak environmental dependence, but also effectively inhibit bacterial infections ablate tumor tissue by promoting cell apoptosis, inhibiting proliferation anti‐angiogenesis.
