Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) has affected almost all communities throughout the world. It affects different systems in body, which causes irreparable consequences. This study aimed to investigate effect of COVID-19 virus on menstrual disorders, anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH), thyroid peroxidase (TPO), stimulating (TSH), and prolactin levels women with disease. prospective cohort was conducted 201 (101 healthy, 100 COVID-19) Nomadic hospital, Khorramabad, Iran from February-October 2021. After recovery COVID-19, participants were interviewed about their cycle 1 st 4 th months. Blood samples collected during months, AMH, TSH, TPO, assessed. No significant differences observed months regarding patient group (p > 0.05). The mean level AMH healthy higher than both times < 0.001). A relationship between TSH month 0.001); however, no month, this regard. Endocrine dysfunction form low high common among patients. Due importance hormonal especially association health policymakers should find appropriate solutions reduce complications.

Autophagy, an evolutionarily conserved cellular mechanism essential for maintaining internal stability, plays a crucial function in female reproductive ability. In this review, we discuss the complex interplay between autophagy and several facets of health, encompassing pregnancy, ovarian functions, gynecologic malignancies, endometriosis, infertility. Existing research emphasizes significance embryo implantation, specifically endometrium, highlighting its necessity ensuring proper fetal development. Although some knowledge has been gained, there is still lack on specific molecular impacts quality oocytes, growth follicles, general health. Autophagy role maturation, quality, development oocytes. It also involved aging, contributing to reductions that occur with age. This review explores physiological functions system, participation toxicity, important connections endometrium embryo. addition, study investigates possibility emerging treatment approaches aim modify autophagy, using both natural substances synthetic molecules, improve fertility outcomes. Additionally, intends inspire future exploration into intricate health by reviewing recent studies pinpointing areas where current lacking. Subsequent investigations should prioritize conversion these discoveries practical uses medical field, which could potentially result groundbreaking therapies infertility other difficulties related reproduction. Therefore, gaining comprehensive understanding many effects would not only further field biology but open new possibilities diagnostic methods.

The decline in the reproductive potential of hens by end first productive period is closely related to biological process ovarian aging. At same time, functioning system de termined intensity and direction metabolic processes body females. Objective : aim presented work was study relationship between biochemical markers status manifestation age-related egg production domestic hens. Materials methods . We performed a comparative blood indicators young laying with long clutches (YLC, n=17) middle-aged at different states: (MLC, n=10), anovulatory (MALC, n=9), short (MSC, n=15) after molting (MSC-M, n=9). Biochemical parameters were determined simultaneously all samples using an automatic analyzer. Results concentration total protein plasma birds 1.2 times lower (p<0.01 0.05) than that older three groups MSC MSC-M). content lipid metabolism components ages did not differ. In birds, activity alanine aminotransferase 1.5 higher (p<0.05) (MSC-M), Ritis coefficient 1.4 MLC group. aged individuals MSC-M groups, levels phosphorus iron (p<0.01-0.05) compared those YLC (phosphorus) (iron) groups. Conclusions findings indicate hens, increased age, which depend on presence signs Furthermore, they point com pensatory changes mineral main tain high laying, as well have resumed molting.

Abstract Purpose of Review This systematic review evaluates the impact obesity on both male and female reproductive health, assisted technology (ART) outcomes, pregnancy-related complications, providing a comprehensive synthesis evidence. Recent Findings Obesity is critical factor adversely affecting ART success rates, pregnancy outcomes. studies indicate hormonal disruptions, metabolic syndrome, epigenetic modifications as central mechanisms linking to infertility adverse results. Summary A search adhering Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines included 35 studies, focusing obesity-related The highlights that disrupts balance, including reductions in sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG) testosterone levels, alongside increased insulin resistance chronic inflammation. These impair ovarian function, endometrial receptivity, sperm quality, resulting prolonged time-to-pregnancy (TTP), reduced miscarriage risk. During pregnancy, maternal elevates risks gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), preeclampsia, cesarean delivery while contributing neonatal such macrosomia intensive care unit (NICU) admissions. findings emphasize dual paternal offspring particularly through leading intergenerational dysfunction. underscores necessity preconception weight management, individualized protocols, tailored antenatal mitigate obesity’s effects Future research should focus understanding mechanisms, optimizing interventions individuals with obesity, conducting longitudinal impacts health. provides actionable insights guide clinical practices future investigations.

Background Reproduction ability requires a certain amount of body fat that is necessary for ovulation, menstruation and pregnancy. Fat tissue represents an endocrine organ with high metabolic activity as it produces adipokines such leptin adiponectin. Our aim to examine potential associations between women reproductive age’s ovarian reserves their levels Method 74 19 40 years age consented take part. Based on the patterns reserves, were divided into three main groups: adequate (AOR - Group A, n=30), polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS B, n=31) depleted (DOR C, n=13). Among these groups, several biochemical demographic parameters statistically compared. Results Compared other two DOR had higher follicle stimulation hormone (FSH) levels. For estradiol (E2) thyroid-stimulating (TSH), no significant difference was seen groups. In addition, PCOS mass index (BMI), luteinizing (LH), total testosterone (TT), 17 hydroxyprogesterone (17-OHP), dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), anti-Mullerian (AMH), antral count (AFC) than line expectations, also lower AMH AFC Women but there difference. adiponectin however not significant. Conclusion The way we classified in our study according completely consistent what has been published internationally. reserve strongly correlated safe conclusions, more research including greater number samples required.

Abstract Background Pregnancy represents an additional challenge to the complex clinical picture of lipodystrophy disorders, and management such conditions with related comorbidities has been underreported. This work aims outline risk associated a pregnancy event for women dealing acquired partial need diverse but specialized care. Case We report on successful outcome 28-year-old woman form allogenic bone marrow transplant that occurred at pediatric age. Although metabolic control was challenging, glucose levels progressively improved during pregnancy, triglycerides increased less than expected. The periodic monitoring leptin showed progressive increase peak in third trimester (41.53 ng/mL), followed by fast decline day after giving birth, lower basal level prepregnancy period. However, preterm delivery cardiac complications mother. Results A total 12 studies were retrieved concerning aged 14 38 years various phenotypes. Diabetes hypertriglyceridemia most common comorbidities. Most had pregnancies despite gestational (including miscarriages), emergency deliveries, newborns undergoing partum or postpartum transient chronic complications. Conclusion Lipodystrophy disorders expose both mothers children very high risk. Intensive care all potential should be planned carried out multidisciplinary team before, during, pregnancy. Leptin secretion investigated more deeply these patients.
