In
Periodic
Paralysis
(PP),
a
rare
inherited
condition
caused
by
mutation
in
skeletal
muscle
ion
channels,
the
phenotype
changes
with
age,
transitioning
from
episodic
attacks
of
weakness
that
give
its
name,
to
more
degenerative
permanent
progressive
and
myopathy.
