While there is much in teacher education which examines the perceptions of preservice to recent introduction ChatGPT. This study teachers' appraisals ChatGPT-produced text. Using a quasi-experimental within-­subject design with 30 participants, Chi-Square tests examined under three conditions. Results indicated that appraisal text was higher when prepared by instructor among students who demonstrated an understanding pedagogical content versus those did not. This study explores the impact of generative artificial intelligence tools on critical thinking and collaboration among university students, highlighting importance investigating these technologies due to their increasing integration into higher education potential transform traditional pedagogical practices. A predominantly female sample was surveyed assess familiarity with experience perceptions tools. total 87% respondents had prior knowledge AI tools, 38% using them occasionally. ABSTRACT Artificial intelligence (AI) has extensively developed, impacting different sectors of society, including higher education, and attracted the attention various educational stakeholders, leading to a growing number research on its integration into education. Hence, this systematic literature review examines impact integrating AI tools in education students' personal collaborative learning environments. Analysis 148 articles published between 2021 2024 indicates that Tools improve personalised assessments, communication engagement, scaffolding performance motivation. Additionally, they promote environment by providing peer‐learning opportunities, enhanced learner‐content interaction cooperative support. Indeed, strategies such as skills development, ethical use, academic integrity instructional content design. Acknowledged limitations include considerations, particularly privacy bias, which require ongoing attention. it is recommended create good balance AI‐mediated human environments, key area future exploration.

Abstract With the growing attention to generative artificial intelligence tools, particularly ChatGPT, there have been efforts explore its implications for and applications in teacher education programs. Mathematics educators (MTEs) can leverage ChatGPT as a facilitative tool enhance preservice teachers' understanding, analyzing, enacting of high‐leverage, effective mathematics teaching practices. One such practice is designing mathematical tasks. In this study, we, three MTEs, utilized self‐study methodology first highlight how our domains knowledge informed prompt engineering techniques given generate tasks second, share lessons learned from interactions with during critical friend dialogues.
