The holistic growth and psychological well-being of people with special needs disabilities remain high on the priority agenda for sustainable inclusive education. Digital technologies especially “smart technologies”, are ready to revolutionize mental health interventions by meeting trainees’ providing them more positive transformative mental, emotional, social experiences. Μeta-skills refer a set consciousness-raising competences that incorporate meta-cognitive, social–emotional, motivational attributes, allowing individuals intentionally achieve state optimal functioning. Although psychology considered promising intervention approaches, there is less knowledge regarding effectiveness such among disabilities, in crucial domain meta-skills development. Thus, current systematic review aims examine strategies as well synergy development metacognition, emotional intelligence, motivation populations training disabilities. PRISMA methodology was utilized answer research questions. A total forty-nine studies met inclusion criteria. results indicated improved wide range meta-skills, including self-regulation, control, behavioral inhibition self-awareness, intrapersonal skills, interpersonal adaptation, goal setting, self-compassion. Artificial intelligence tools, wearables, smart applications, immersive (virtual augmented reality), neurofeedback biofeedback technologies, digital games were found effectively assist programs. may provide feedback discussion about digitally-aided health.

How Do Initial and Interactive Social Cues Increase Customers’ Continuance Usage Intention of Chatbots?

Enterprises widely utilize chatbots as "intelligent customer service" because of their efficiency and low cost. However, complaints doubts occur occasionally, improving users' willingness to continue use is a crucial issue that needs be solved urgently. This study investigates whether how initial social cues (avatar, name, greeting) interactive (emoji) can improve intention using. Our findings from three scenario experiments reveal both increase consumers' warmth perception, while only elevate competence perception. The greater the perceived by users, higher trust in chatbots, leading increased using them. Furthermore, we identified reinforcing effect when types are combined, further augmenting persist with chatbots. contributes chatbot-human interaction literature validating effectiveness these two offers practical insights for enhancing retention optimizing chatbot design.

Preferred Uses of Generative AI Chatbots in Mental Health Care: Exploring Practitioners’ Perspectives (Preprint)

Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbots have the potential to improve mental health care for practitioners and clients. Evidence demonstrates that AI can assist with tasks such as documentation, research, counselling, therapeutic exercises. However, research examining practitioners’ perspectives is limited. Drawing on qualitative quantitative data, this mixed-methods study investigates: (1) different uses of chatbots; (2) their likelihood recommending clients; (3) whether recommendation increases after viewing a demonstration. Participants were 23 (17 female, 6 male; M age = 39.39, SD 16.20). In forty-five-minute interviews, participants selected three most helpful from 11 options rated clients Likert-scale before 11-minute chatbot Binomial tests found Generating Case Notes was at greater-than-chance levels (p .001), while Support Session Planning .863) Identifying Suggesting Literature .096) not. Although 55% (n 12) likely recommend clients, binomial test no significant difference 50% threshold .738). A paired samples t-test increased significantly .002) pre-demonstration post-demonstration. ABSTRACT Over the past decade, demand for medical services has increased, with implications levels of care. Smooth Talking: Generative Versus Scripted Coaching Chatbot Adoption and Efficacy Comparison

Workplace coaching is an essential individual and organizational development intervention, but high costs limit its application. AI chatbots could scale coaching, however, traditional scripted lacks mainstream adoption due to limited context awareness robotic responses. Recent advances in large language models generative offer alternative, linked risks controversies. Should use AI? We compared a scripted, rules-based chatbot (ScriptBot, n = 126) with (GenBot, 116) randomized controlled trail experiment. measured technology (UTAUT2), self-determination (autonomy, competence, relatedness) goal attainment. For all variables, GenBot outperformed ScriptBot. However, for attainment there was no significant difference. Using improves outcomes, highly structured interactions such as attainment, conversations (with lower risk) seem work just well.

The rising number Australians with CMDs has necessitated new strategies for those managing these such as digital health interventions. effectiveness interventions in supporting people is dependent on extent to which users engage tools. Augmenting conversational agents, technologies interact using natural language, may enhance engagement because their human-like attributes. To date, no systematic review compiled evidence how design features influence agent-enabled CMDs. This seeks address this gap, thereby guiding developers creating more engaging effective tools CMD management.
