The purpose of this paper is to address the most significant contributions pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) involved in teaching physics. Most studies have observed characterizations PCK via specific lower secondary and upper curricula. Here, we present a number that show evidence for development some components, including those as an articulating axis physics teacher training models. work descriptive study analyzes, by means case study, changes through intervention program. This program based on reflections about teaching, concerning electric field education. results categories, such curriculum strategies, evolved after program, contrast with evaluation pupils. suggests approach involving teacher’s reflection what he/she designs allows progression towards learning process more focused innovative tendencies.

Innovative teaching strategies are designing a new and promising landscape in education. They fill lessons with creativity imagination for either the students or teachers. This article addresses an attempt to make approach science easier nonscientific environment: primary education at university level. Gamification methodologies were combined flipped classroom order free up in-class time engage taught courses. A qualitative study was merged quantitative measures of emotional motivational parameters. These results improved four semistructured interviews. The clearly showed rise students’ levels, acknowledgment good practices, evident enhancement felt positive emotions toward scientific issues.

To analyze how variability changes over time can enhance the understanding of learners’ self-efficacy, motivation, and satisfaction is controlled why differences might exist among groups individuals. Therefore, this study compared effect on pre-service teacher students in flipped classroom approach with a course named modern educational technology (MET). In total, 77 two participated study. Learners experimental group received treatment. control traditional lecture-centered instructional approach. The learning outcomes were evaluated by practice assignment, transfer student perception survey. survey includes evaluation satisfaction, motivation. Pre-test post-test conducted groups. data analysis results applied variance (ANOVA) or covariance (ANCOVA) revealed that displayed better achievement than group. participants’ also showed (i.e., motivation) was Considering overall results, model be students’ course.

The use of active and flipped methodologies has increased in recent years. Here, gamification uses typical elements a game different contexts, including that education. Specifically, Escape Room games used as educational tools have potential for teaching–learning, they can be beneficial because improve students’ motivation emotions toward learning. This is particularly valuable science, technology, engineering mathematics (STEM) courses, where the cognitive factor multidimensional domain are closely connected. research presents an online-based Edu-Escape with science sustainability contents educative tool STEM course. With intervention proposed, we analyze how this influences (attitudes, self-efficacy emotions) pre-service teachers (PSTs). According to attitude analysis, it observed most items analyzed show increase more positive attitudes after intervention. In particular, Question 11 (Q11) indicates significant difference. Concerning results emotion, “joy”, “satisfaction” “fun” significantly However, negative “nervousness”, “frustration” “concern” also increase, partly due characteristics. proposed activity had medium effect on differences except emotion “frustration”, large according size (ES) analysis. principal component analysis (PCA), attitudes, PSTs positively correlated, influence shows improvement these variables. Finally, structural equation modeling partial least squares (SEM-PLS) showed effects instruction PSTs’ towards science. Therefore, there multiple benefits having implemented Room.

The position of universities is great importance in climate change education (CCE) if the scientific, environmental, social, and political challenges world confronts are to be met. It is, therefore, crucial comprehend CCE being engaged globally by higher institutions (HEIs). also important discover analyze ways that HEIs can better address this challenge. Consistent with requirements research, study offers an analysis awareness-raising preservice teachers (PSTs) a university science classroom flipped class intervention. A total 109 students participated research: 55 control group (Group 1) 54 experimental 2). questionnaire was used detect any significant difference students’ awareness for two groups before after course completion. analyzed results exposed improved PSTs intervention, and, were more willing engage teaching. Hence, will contribute significantly reducing existing drawbacks, which vital professional teaching developments teachers. Thus, research offer various instances clarifying how may placed context certain adaptations.

Abstract With the rapid application of blended learning around world, a large amount literature has been accumulated. The analysis main research topics and development trends based on is great significance. To address this issue, paper collected abstracts from 3772 eligible papers published between 2003 2021 Web Science core collection. Through LDA topic modeling, abstract text content was analyzed, then 7 well-defined were obtained. According to results, emphasis shifted initial courses about health, medicine, nursing, chemistry mathematics key elements such as outcomes, teacher factors, presences. Among topics, popularity presences increased significantly, while formative assessment rare requiring careful intervention. other five had no significant increase or decrease trends, but still accounted for considerable proportion. word cloud technology, keyword characteristics each stage focus changes This study provides useful insights implications related research.

Although flipped classroom (FC) has been popular in education since the 2000s, there is a lack of reviews on how teaching approach applied and what gained field teacher education. Most focus either implementation learning outcomes with students higher disciplines other than education, or latter approaches primary secondary school pupils. This article presents scoping literature review 33 studies published between 2014 until 2019 Our analysis points out that were mainly conducted United States, an increased European Asian countries, adoption primarily pedagogy, science, language arts. Moreover, majority employed mixed methods surveys being most commonly used instrument to collect data. Two main foci identified across reviewed studies: student perceptions academic performance. The former revealed six (1. Attitude, motivation, emotion; 2. Content delivery; 3. Learning environment; 4. experience; 5. Instructor presence; 6. Engagement). Based our synthesis, we discuss current trends future development research field, FC's pedagogical value added potential knowledge gaps literature.

During the last decade, there has been a strong emphasis on developing new instruction methodologies for effective teaching of different contents. Here, it is important to teach Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education, specially, in scientific mathematical concepts. In context active learning gamification, educational Escape Room - Breakout (ERB) could be useful strategy improve students' affective cognitive domain towards STEM (science mathematics). Thus, two didactic tools, based an ERB, have designed science mathematics This research compares influence ERBs (Science ERB ERB) Pre-Service Teachers' (PSTs) (emotions, attitudes, self-efficacy STEM) (performance). Non-parametric statistical tests were used, Mann-Whitney U test was applied measure significant differences between variables ERBs. Spearman correlation coefficient implemented correlations study variables. The results show that increase positive emotions both "joy", "fun", "nervousness" are significantly higher after Science emotion "fear" lower with respect ERB. attitudes analysis, 8 items questionnaire observed According performance PST grades increased each Finally, analysis indicates emotions, high self-efficacy, PSTs' performance. values these related theoretical content results, used several advantages domain.

In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in the efficiency of lecture and flipped classroom instruction method (FCIM) on EFL students’ academic passion (AP) responsibility. Although these variables have studied before, more studies still need to be conducted this field. The statistical population study includes all language students at University Tabriz year 2022–2023. current study, 72 552 persons were selected using a one-stage cluster sampling from term two randomly assigned groups (36 for each group). This research is quasi-experimental based objectives data collection. Two questionnaires used study: AP responsibility questionnaire. content validity index (CVI) ratio (CVR)methods examined textbook course. results showed that (FCI) are significantly higher than method. Thus, by activating learners, they can direct their thoughts actions way significant impact motivation, AP, responsibility, ultimately learning. It concluded FCI efficient
