The present qualitative study explores challenges that influence student wellbeing and possible strategies to handle these challenges. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with university students from the faculty of sports sciences in a foundation university. researchers applied phenomenological approach through snowballing purposeful sampling. findings reveal five main impact negatively. This study examines the psychological well-being (PWB) of lower secondary school students in Bangkok’s Secondary Educational Service Area Offices (SESAO) 1 and 2, using data mining techniques to analyze key influencing factors develop a culturally adapted PWB questionnaire. The research framework is based on six components: autonomy, environmental mastery, personal growth, positive relationships, life purpose, self-acceptance. Data were collected from 2543 2023 academic year analyzed Waikato Environment for Knowledge Analysis (WEKA) program JRip rule-based classification model. Results indicate that growth most predictive performance PWB, followed by relationships purpose. A newly developed questionnaire was tested reliability, with Supplied Test Set (80:20) method yielding strong metrics, including accuracy (90.18%), precision (69.00%), recall (90.90%), F-measure (78.40%). demonstrates mining’s effectiveness identifying adolescent within Thai context. findings provide educators policymakers insights fostering student contribute offering validated, relevant assessment tool.

Abstract Background The international education sector is important not only to Australian society, but also the national economy. There are growing concerns about potential wellbeing challenges facing students in their host country, owing acculturative stress; including loneliness, isolation and experiences of racism. Risks include poor mental health decreased likelihood access support due stigma, language cultural barriers, knowing where seek help, knowledge. Methods This study explored students’ perceptions accommodation, subjective (through Personal Wellbeing Index, [‘PWI’]), help-seeking individual engagement with evidence-based everyday promotion actions (informed by ‘5 Ways Wellbeing’ model) through an online survey ( N = 375) three focus groups 19). Student mental health is a relevant aspect of the current academic context due to concerns regarding escalating issues and because an increasingly holistic perspective on education, learning, personal development. This research investigates perceptions teachers in higher education their roles promoting student health, explicitly focusing who hold tutor position. After following strict procedure, Mentor-Q questionnaire was designed measure respondents’ role. administered online all Dutch University Applied Sciences for study; 180 finished it. Abstract This study sought to analyze an explanatory model on the relationship among sociodemographic factors, health-promoting lifestyle behaviors and psychological distress (depression, anxiety stress) in college students. is observational, analytical cross-sectional conducted a national sample of 4203 students who entered macro university Honduras 2021, 2022 2023. We used survey, Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile (HPLP-II) Depression, Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS-21). Univariate analysis multivariate structural equation were conducted. The average HPLP-II score was 117.45 (± 23.41), DASS-21 20.06 14.16). showed good data fit (comparative index = 0.951; Tucker–Lewis 0.957; root mean square error approximation 0.067 [90% CI 0.067–0.068]). Results indicate that being woman (β 0.11; p < 0.001) enrolled biological health sciences 0.09; significantly predict scores. Furthermore, 0.17; 0.001), age 0.10; having pre-existing medical conditions 0.16; explain part variance DASS-21. A significant reverse between behavior shown (r −0.36; 0.001). identifies protective risky factors linked distress. Racial discrimination is a global concern affecting education, including medical programs in the Netherlands. Covert racial academia has been linked to adverse academic outcomes and unequal opportunities. This qualitative study explores relationship between racism, well-being, success among ethnic minority students Dutch education. Conducted 2021 at southern Netherlands university, this research employed interviews delve into experiences of 11 diverse students. Utilising phenomenological approach, conducted semi-structured applied thematic content analysis understand how impacted students’ well-being. The findings revealed prevalence both overt covert predominantly white educational environments. Ethnic encountered that negatively affected their well-being performance. This study addresses the role of teachers in students' well-being higher education, which has not been well defined literature. A qualitative was conducted at a Dutch university applied sciences. It explores student beliefs about educators' roles their well-being, and requirements to fulfil such roles. In total, 27 students were interviewed. Abstract Technology in the classroom can facilitate learning, but little is known about how motivational climate set by teachers shapes its impacts on students. Informed self‐determination theory, current study explored technology use English language classrooms to understand autonomy‐supportive and structured teaching styles influenced positive outcomes of use.
