Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic is presenting a serious health crisis to humanity. This also raising questions for both academic and policy administration. Using global database, this paper aims clarify the relationship between statistics some macroeconomic indicators in 206 countries worldwide. quantitative analysis process done by two methodologies including Pearson correlation Pooled-OLS regression. result shows that number of infections deaths has positive significant relationships with population, median age, income per capita. information from can help policymakers have better view as well prepare effective responses combating potential pandemics future.

Abstract This study examines the relationship between citizens' satisfaction with government COVID‐19 communication and management (SWCCM) institutional trust. By employing a longitudinal approach, using three‐wave panel data from Sweden 2020 to 2022, addresses current lack of research on interplay SWCCM trust across different stages societal crisis like pandemic. The results show that increased slightly over pandemic period, while in institutions decreased. also finds changes predict institutions, suggesting is associated institutions. Risk communication during COVID-19 is essential to have support, but it challenging in developing countries due a lack of setup. It more difficult for the low-income, marginal communities, and specifically, women countries. To understand this, particularly pandemic, we conducted qualitative study among N = 37 (urban 20, rural 17) across Bangladesh that presents risk factors related social financial challenges. reveals majority urban communities with local authorities, where low-income are worst sufferers.
