Abstract
Background
Extensive
animal
production
systems,
such
as
reindeer
husbandry
may
represent
a
system

further
study

of
stress
responses
and
potential
implications
for
welfare
research
on
food

Environmental
enrichment
(EE)
is
a
management
principle

at
meeting
the
needs
of
animals
under
human
care
by
identifying
and
providing
essential
environmental
stimuli
to

worldwide,
